  1. Overland Wheel/Tire upgrade combo suggestions

I'm curious, are you still happy with stock suspension or did you ultimately decide to do a lift with the 35's? The pics from Nov look fantastic. Any idea how much the larger tires impacted the speedometer?
  2. Overland Wheel/Tire upgrade combo suggestions

I'm in the middle of deciding what to do with my Overland tires, are you happy with the duratracs after driving for 6 months? Did you end up keeping your suspension stock as well? Thanks!
  3. Maryland Jeep clubs?

I hate to disappoint - this will be a nice drive in the hills, but nothing about this trail requires 4wd... There are a number of narrow paths across the hills that would be fun if opened, but they all have locked gates that keep vehicles out.
  4. Maryland Jeep clubs?

It looks like they've closed off (at least temporarily) about 40% of the roads through the park, but I've used the park as a sanity break during COVID twice now, so there is still a good amount of time that you can spend out driving and/or hiking/biking the many cycling trails if you like. The...
  5. Maryland Jeep clubs?

Add one more Gladiator in the area, we're just north of Olney, Md and would enjoy connecting with other Jeep owners who might be interested in occassionally taking group rides our to the trails in the surrounding areas. Other than the first road through the Frederick Watershed, it seems most...

  8. Those complaining about the steering... get the Fox Steering Stabilizer

Thanks John, very encouraging to hear. I could live with the wander that I have with this new Overland, but if the stabilizers can knock it down by half it would put me where I expected a Jeep to drive.
  9. Those complaining about the steering... get the Fox Steering Stabilizer

Do you mind sharing more detail on this bulletin or a link if it's available online? Was the bulletin specific to the Rubicon that had been mentioned or did it also apply to the Overland? I'm happy to try anything before throwing money at a fix.
  10. Those complaining about the steering... get the Fox Steering Stabilizer

My first Gladiator Overland wandered like crazy from mid-speed to high-speed, it took constant attention to keep tracking a straight line. Due to other issues I had to swap it out for a nearly identical replacement, but interestingly this was wanders much less - but still too much, even for...
  11. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

I’ve had my new vehicle for around a month now and am very happy with it so far. I love how quick the top comes off (twice so far) and look forward to weather that lets me take the doors off as well. Have taken it “off-road” on dirt trails in the area 4 times so far, but super easy stuff...
  12. Difference between the Mopar Fox and Fox IPF stabilizer?

Just curious, now that you're a month into the stabilizer, how are you feeling about the upgrade? It would be great if my Gladiator wasn't wondering around the road without constant attention/correction!
  13. Bed Storage (not drawers) Options

Just grabbed one this weekend and think it's a great solution for $57! Fits fine under my tonneau cover.
  14. Clockspring failure in first day - related to CFW, ESC and Cruise failure as well?

Update - it took 30 days to get the part(s) and then a couple days to tackle the issue, but it appears that changing the clockspring did fix all the remaining issues with the Gladiator- with the exception that we couldn’t recreate an issue we had with the front speakers....hopefully the...
  15. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

I don’t think it’s probable that anyone else will have this bad of luck after buying a bad build, but I’m knocking on wood as I say it! They’re still great looking trucks.
  16. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

I had never heard of JeepCares, but will check it out if I end up keeping the Gladiator when it’s all said and done. I would love to feel excited again about joining the Jeep family, I’m just not there right now.
  17. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

So, 35 days after putting the Gladiator in the shop, the parts have been made available and the repairs seem to have resolved the issues that we encountered. I still can't fathom how it took more than a month to resolve, but at least I didn't make the second car payment on a vehicle that I...
  18. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

Apologies for the delayed response - the clockspring has been out on it for the past 25 days and apparently Jeep won't have the parts available to fix it until next week (latest in a long line of promises...we'll see). I'm not sure if the clockspring was also causing the front audio to...
  19. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

Glad the humor made it through...no reason to rant when it's more fun to make fun
  20. My own Jeep Groundhog Day experience

I have to say that I loved my Gladiator for the 24 hours that it worked, but it's been a rehash of the original Groundhog Day movie for the past two weeks. I was kind of hoping more for the updated marketing campaign version....
