  1. Relocation Brackets vs Long Control Arms

I have an AEV370 diesel. Didnt get it to do hard wheeling so in line with the comments here. I did do some tougher trails when it was new and the drop brackets take a beating. Was able to hammer and bend them back into shape. Might be able to weld a piece of plate on there for some protection...
  2. AEV 370 JTRD

Its been good. Had a JKU before and it was mostly all AEV but built in stages rather than the Big Bang package. No issues mechanically. Never drove it stock and dont have a pre post reference point. Drives very well. Have had one minor issue with the diesel unrelated to anything to do with the...
  3. AEV 370 JTRD

You will love it with 37s! Lots of variability on mpg, but if I keep my foot out of it 17-18 around town and low to mid 20s on the highway. I am sure it can do a little better if it wasnt fun to give it a little kick when taking off. Not sure if the 4.56s are helping or hurting. Might get better...
  4. JTRD Snorkel

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Diesel JT! This link should have all the info you need about the AEV snorkel. Think only AEV and Hauk have a diesel snorkel, but there might be others. There is a lot of info in the 3.0 section when you have the time to search.
  5. Diesel specific cabin air filter….

Awesome! Worth changing early too. Only at 7k miles and there was a lot of dirt in the OE filter already.
  6. Diesel specific cabin air filter….

  7. JT Diesel Snorkel

Hope you and your family are doing the best possible. Always tough
  8. JT Diesel Snorkel

    Nice work, looks great!
  9. Ecoflow River 2 Pro experience

I have found the quality is pretty low with Ecoflow. You might be dodging a bullet. Jumped in with both feet and got a bunch of the Rivers for back up power sources for home wifi, security system, etc. Low voltage stuff. All the Rivers have died and needed to be replaced or returned. Bought one...
  10. AEV 370 JTRD

AEV high capacity springs installed. Had the shop put them in - glad I did as they said it was a bit of work especially passenger rear. Fronts looked tough too. Gained 1/4" up front and a full 1.5" in the rear. Ride is firm but certainly not harsh. Have a trip up to the mountains coming over New...
  11. AEV 370 JTRD

Had to have the AEV tailgate wrap replaced under warranty (sort of). All the edges were immediately coming off when I took delivery. They said they had a bad batch of decals. Finally got the new set - major hassle as they shipped to the dealer to repair and the dealers dont do this work. If it...
  12. JT Diesel Snorkel

Never get tired of these PW pics - keep em comin!
  13. JT Diesel Snorkel

Maybe a screw on grill can be 3d printed and a thin pre filter material could be sandwiched between the two and catch the large particles? Simlar to this grill on this intake just bolted over the AEV intake. Could possibly work without much reduction in flow
  14. RSI Smartcap

    Thanks, steal away!
  15. RSI Smartcap

Had to get some tailgate wrap repair done on the JT and decided to try wrapping the doors with black on black topo from Adventure Life Decals. Reached out to the them and they cut me a couple pieces for the doors. Came out pretty good. The matte finish isn't as noticeable live as in the pic -...
  16. S&B intake

Getting closer. They also posted a video comparing stock with the CAI. Sounds like some good turbo noise with the new one.
  17. Sirius XM Antenna Relocation/Upgrade

Very nice! I never fixed this issue when I had my JK. With a rhino rack platform it was always cutting out. Good solution and looks cool to boot.
  18. Do all 3.0L EcoDiesel come with the block heater?

This thread has all the info you need to do the install plus part numbers. '22s don't have the heaters and couldn't order as noted above. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/ecodiesel-block-heater-installation.63131/
  19. Adaptive Cruise Control failure yesterday

Got this error message today as well. ACC and Cruise not avail. Was driving from Phx to LA. Windy, but not bad. Did pass some big trucks when I noticed it on the dash. At refuel and restart zero issues. Worked perfectly the rest of the way home. I did miss it for the first two hours of the trip :)
