For those that don't know.
The IKE is from the bottom of the Eisenhower Tunnel to Silverthorne, CO. It's about 8 miles long. Silverthorne is a little more than 9000' in altitude while the west side of the Eisenhower tunnel is just over 11000ft. So you're starting at an altitude of 1.7 miles...
You've gotta read the rest of the thread my friend. JeepCares just said they changed the policy to apply the military discount.
However FCA's current Military discount doesn't apply to use old vets. (which I'm fine with).
1. Get used to it. I'm about to put the 3rd windshield on my JLU.
2. Isn't the Gladiator's windshield the exact same thing as the Wrangler's? How does the dealer figure it's on backorder. I checked with mine last week and I could replace my JLU's windshield tomorrow if I want.
3. If you can wait...
There are a lot of people in the world that simply don't understand these details of the auto industry.
Ford, GM, FCA, and Toyota are all my customers. I just get giddy when I see get to see some nugget on their vehicle development. I got to see the new Corvette, in the flesh, a couple of...
Yup..
And dealers make their money in a lot of ways, on car sales. There's holdback, which isn't always a lot. There's end of month bonuses for reaching a certain number of sales. There are special deals from the factory. They also have to account for the extra costs of their floor plan if...
I totally get what the OP is saying. My only suggestion would be to wait until the end of the year, at the earliest. If you still have any interest in the JT, then go get a GOOD deal on one. It’s a LOT of money to ask for a mid sized truck. Even one at cool as this one is.
Oh certainly man. That's why I laughed when typing that statement. I've bought/sold 43 cars in my short life (I probably need an intervention) and no matter how new or popular the car is, I've never paid a penny above MSRP. The worst deal I've ever done was for a 2008 New Beetle that I bought...
Went to Prestige Jeep in Longmont, CO. Very nice, low pressure dealer to work with. I also like their service dept. To top that off, you too can get an almost fully loaded Gladiator Rubicon for ONLY $8995 ABOVE MSRP! hahahaha.
Seriously I do like this dealer. The salesman was a good fella...
I can't comment on the Falken MTs but I have the 35" version of the Falken Wildpeak AT3W on my JLU. It's an incredibly good tire and even has a 60K warranty on it. I've taken it off road, here in Colorado, and through A LOT of snow. Of course I've also been on road in rain and snow. It's...
