  1. How will you pay for your truck?

I could buy it outright but that would involve selling some stocks, which I’m not going to do. I’ll probably put the value of my trade and $5000 down along with financing. If the economy is slowing a bit, then we’ll see finance rates start to dip. Last summer I got 2.9% financing for my JL...
  2. Discussion: 2020 Ford Raptor or 2020 Jeep Gladiator

I might be screwed.. I saw a new Velocity Blue Raptor today and my wife didn't say NO.
  3. Who is trading their JL for a JT or who is just adding a JT to their Jeep stable?

I’m planning on trading my JLUSS for a JTR.
  4. Thank you Jeep & FCA

Someone started his weekend drinking a little early.
  5. When ?

Call your dealer and ask. They might know by now. The first edition can be ordered today by people that got the email invite. Everyone else can order the first edition tomorrow and tomorrow only. So MAYBE we can start ordering any other JT on April 5th.
  6. Gladiator Pricing Calculator WorkSheet

Just call your dealer and ask. They should be fully knowledgeable on the subject. If they’re not, then you know where NOT to buy... haha
  7. Is soft top warm enough?

That almost makes minivans not suck... Almost.
  8. Gladiator Pricing Calculator WorkSheet

It depends on the state.. Texas the sales tax is on the sale price of the vehicle minus the trade value of your trade in. Several other states have sales tax based on the sales price of the car alone. Down payment shouldn't have any impact on sales taxes.
  9. ARB bumper

I think the stock steel bumper is fine for winches. I have a Smittybilt H20 with a Warn mounting kit. It wasn't hard to do at all.
  10. (Doug DeMuro Review) Here's Why the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Is the Hottest New Truck

I'm in the same boat. If I get a super/turbo charger, and I'm not 100% decided, it'll be for towing across I-70. I could still wait it out and get the diesel. TFLtruck may help me make up my mind. They said they are going to do towing tests on the 3.6 at 11000ft or more. I'm planning on the...
  11. (Doug DeMuro Review) Here's Why the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Is the Hottest New Truck

A 10 on his scale is something like a Bugatti Veyron. You need to compare accelleration with a similar vehicle.
  12. Uconnect® 4 with 7-Inch Display

Go watch Doug DeMuro's review here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/doug-demuro-review-heres-why-the-2020-jeep-gladiator-is-the-hottest-new-truck.15079/ He describes it's function there. He also briefly covers Off Road Pages.
  13. Uconnect® 4 with 7-Inch Display

That may be the case. IMO it's just a software thing. I see no reason the 7" couldn't do it. However I think the 7" could do Off Road pages but that is an 8" exclusive as well.
  14. Red dash change on gator

That just doesn't look right IMO. If I get Gator, I'll be painting the dash to match. Maybe put a decal of a Huey on it.
  15. Uconnect® 4 with 7-Inch Display

an excellent question. It certainly isn't on my JLU's 7".
  16. UPDATE: JL line shutdown, 7k JT Government Orders - Possible UAW Strike

I got that from JLWranglerForums. When I get a chance, I'll see if I can find their source. But yea, I think you may be right. EDIT: Yup, I miss read it. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/plant-production-updates-2018-jeep-wrangler-jl-jlu.2256/
  17. (Doug DeMuro Review) Here's Why the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Is the Hottest New Truck

He's a car critic. It's job to be subjective and maybe even controversial on these things. But, at the end of the day, he rated the JT higher than every competitor but the Raptor and I don't think many of us would argue that one.
  18. (Doug DeMuro Review) Here's Why the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Is the Hottest New Truck

Yes, the Hummer H1 had CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) as an option and some HUMWV's had it as well. It was a leaky PoS. I think I only saw it on one vehicle when I was in the Army. Of course I only drove them occasionally so my experience is a bit limited.
  19. Hard top hoist

That's perfectly reasonable for someone in Ecuador. However, here in Colorado, it got down to -15F (before the windchill) a few times this year. In the mountains, it can get colder. A hard top is kinda needed.
  20. Is soft top warm enough?

People buying off the lot don't always get the option of having the dual top group. Alone, the soft top is just over $2200. The market is there. I've seen unused soft tops going for $1400 to $1500. If you CAN get the dual top group, then I do recommend it.
