I could buy it outright but that would involve selling some stocks, which I’m not going to do. I’ll probably put the value of my trade and $5000 down along with financing.
If the economy is slowing a bit, then we’ll see finance rates start to dip. Last summer I got 2.9% financing for my JL...
Call your dealer and ask. They might know by now. The first edition can be ordered today by people that got the email invite. Everyone else can order the first edition tomorrow and tomorrow only. So MAYBE we can start ordering any other JT on April 5th.
It depends on the state.. Texas the sales tax is on the sale price of the vehicle minus the trade value of your trade in. Several other states have sales tax based on the sales price of the car alone. Down payment shouldn't have any impact on sales taxes.
I'm in the same boat. If I get a super/turbo charger, and I'm not 100% decided, it'll be for towing across I-70. I could still wait it out and get the diesel. TFLtruck may help me make up my mind. They said they are going to do towing tests on the 3.6 at 11000ft or more.
I'm planning on the...

He describes it's function there. He also briefly covers Off Road Pages.
That may be the case. IMO it's just a software thing. I see no reason the 7" couldn't do it. However I think the 7" could do Off Road pages but that is an 8" exclusive as well.
I got that from JLWranglerForums. When I get a chance, I'll see if I can find their source. But yea, I think you may be right.
EDIT: Yup, I miss read it. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/plant-production-updates-2018-jeep-wrangler-jl-jlu.2256/
He's a car critic. It's job to be subjective and maybe even controversial on these things. But, at the end of the day, he rated the JT higher than every competitor but the Raptor and I don't think many of us would argue that one.
Yes, the Hummer H1 had CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System) as an option and some HUMWV's had it as well. It was a leaky PoS. I think I only saw it on one vehicle when I was in the Army. Of course I only drove them occasionally so my experience is a bit limited.
That's perfectly reasonable for someone in Ecuador. However, here in Colorado, it got down to -15F (before the windchill) a few times this year. In the mountains, it can get colder. A hard top is kinda needed.
People buying off the lot don't always get the option of having the dual top group. Alone, the soft top is just over $2200. The market is there. I've seen unused soft tops going for $1400 to $1500. If you CAN get the dual top group, then I do recommend it.
