My premium soft top got approval To be replaced at the dealer today! They said it was horrible compared to the new ones. I guess I’ve just got used to it getting noisier over time....
Paying the $.56 per mile enables me to keep it, not have a payment, pay it down faster and then keep it personal as an asset that I can sell.
it’s honestly a win win, I don’t pay personal property taxes and the insurance is way cheaper as an individual. Also a lot less liability for the company.
provable expenses is easy.... Ill be keeping a log every month anyways, that’s how it’ll be determined how much I get paid: mileage X $.56
good point on the electric... but it’ll be challenging those days when I’m driving over 300 miles considering the new lightening gets 230 max miles and the...
So I’ve decided I’m going to keep it and collect the $.56 per mile driving.
Im going to be averaging around 3000 a month, which will be a tax free $1680.
My payment is around $600, insurance $60, monthly gas will be around $500 ($1160 total). So I’ll have about $520 extra per month... to pay...
I bought my JT in October of 2019, and have about 14k miles on it. While I really like the premium soft top that came with it (well made, easy to fold back etc) in the last couple months it’s gotten really noisy. First, it rattles all over. I’m a pretty smart guy and I can’t really find out...
great points about rocks, and now that I think about it I never stay behind or diagonal to a large truck... I step back a little or zoom around them ;)
but you have a fairly stock overland.... Mojave’s/rubis with lifts and tires getting over 20 is what gets me
I think with the excessively high MPG claims people have on here... they likely drive like my grandma.
edit: also following too close on the highway is the best way to have to replace your windshield. I’m like you, I stay far back... no issues so far.
it’s not about the significant mpg increase, its the fact you can:
1) rock crawl in complete EV mode, instant torque.
2) if your commune is within 10 miles, you can go to and from work on likely NO gas. Most of my coworkers... like 75% like within that range.
3) backseat storage... probably your...
Ahhh, texas, that makes sense...
edit: but wait, it doesn’t....
Your right Cali is #1 for Tesla sales
#2 Florida
#3 Washington
But........ #4 is........
TEXAS!!! Are you disappointed in your state ?? 8.3% of all Tesla’s sold in Texas. Don’t know if you heard the news but Tesla moved to...
Let’s look at the statistics... so there have been 56,706 Hellcats made to date, and 1,430,000 Tesla’s so far.
that’s about a 1:25 ratio of vehicles on the street Hellcats to Tesla’s..... very interesting how some perceive things especially when compared to statistics.
have your heard About issues with Prius batteries? Anyone complain about them yet? They have been out for years and it’s been Plenty quiet considering you are saying batteries will only last 4 years?
most hybrid batteries are warrantied to last 8-10 years and up to 100k miles . Many last double...
great point, but will the industry stay stagnant because 1 in 1,000,000 people take longer trips? Unlikely. Those who take long trips will buy a used gaser and plan their trip to hit gas stations when needed.
People said the same thing with email and ordering things online. Look at what COVID...
1 to 10 Tesla’s to hellcats?? I’m not sure where you live but there are teslas everywhere and I’ve only seen a couple Hellcats. Seems quite the stretch to me.
who needs to fill the car in 90 seconds when you can do it from your home every night or as needed? These are already approaching the...
