285/65r18 is going to be the closest you can get.
And and that’s a pretty common size so you get a fair amount of options, looks like the Patagonia’s would be a good option and they look pretty sweet.
Here is a comparison for the stock rubicon ATs and the 18” tire he has. About two inches difference between the two.
I have 285/75r17 wildpeak ATs (the in the middle of the two being compared) and I like them a ton. Look great and quiet.
Edit: one thing I like about these wildpeaks is they...
I tow a TT that is 6000 dry but I have a max tow.
You MUST have the following things;
1) weight distribution hitch with built in sway control
2) brake controller
3) I’m guessing (hoping) you have the factory tow package and auto?
BUT the main things you need to focus on is PAYLOAD not MAX...
I don’t know if this helps, but I run the front rubi springs and rubi shocks all around and I like the set up on my sport w max tow. Slight rake, .5-.75” barely noticeable. When I tow my TT I have a WDH so the rake isn’t needed. Generally speaking, if you tow something that drastically affects...
sorry but I have to LOL, I literally almost did the same thing with my red arc!!
luckily I measured and refitted an extra time and realized it was too close to the trim.
I ended up putting it about 2.5 inches lower and 2.5 to the left. Don’t worry tho, no one will ever see it but you. Don’t...
1) Your issue got fixed by the dealer first time. He tried to get it resolved several times and they weren’t able to figure it out. So no your situation doesn’t some how make you know where he’s coming from.
2) you self admittedly didn’t read the posts on this thread, and he did give details of...
Sometimes you have to follow the chain of command and go over peoples head. Some will get butt hurt but often it’s the only way to get them moving to hold them accountable. I’m like you, I give someone a reasonable amount of time to help me, if not, I find who the report to and keep moving up...
Its sad all dealerships aren’t created equal. I wish FCA could somehow set expectations and guidelines for dealerships like Lexus does. The Jeep dealerships around me are so-so. I don’t know that there is a truly decent one within 100 miles.
Our Honda dealerships locally suck also, so we drive...
I bet you wouldnt be making stupid comments like this if your new 50k JT had some bs electrical issue, loosing power while driving and no one could figure it out. Let the dude vent and quit being an internet bully.
I love my Jeeps but people like you make up the extremist side of Jeep owners...
This is absolutely normal when new. In 2-3 years you will be saying... remember when my top was super snug and quiet? In a couple years it’ll slip on way easier, but will be WAYY louder! Mine is coming up on 2 years and already getting pretty flappy and noisy....
Just appreciate these days...
I actually find your posts entertaining and sometimes informative.
FYI, if anything is whining, it’s the start of this thread. I just wanted to whine at the whining. But I really am a orry the max tow owners had to dilute all your expert threads and comments. Shame on them.
We have a new quote...
I always love it when people feel entitled to admit they know more than everyone else. And that what they have is bigger and better than everyone else’s. You are in the right place for this.
Work smarter, so you work less. Then you won’t have to work harder.
The quiet ones in the room usually...
For rock crawling... yes the JTR is a clear step above. But who really gets a truck to do serious rock crawling?
In regard to max tow, it’s not just about max towing, it’s also about having a payload above 1580. The 7650 towing and 1583 payload is nice for people like me who have a big ass...
