  1. It's been fun but the JT had to go

Great looking combo!! I would have loved to keep my Mojave. I agree with the 33" sentiment. I'm planning to start with something similar to get familiar with it, and have fun without stressing the stock drive train.
  2. It's been fun but the JT had to go

If I wasn't putting so many miles on it I would have loved to lift it higher and run some 40s but that just wasn't in the cards for my daily driving needs. My local group is mostly Wranglers, a square body Suburban on tons, and some buggies. Most of the time I was running some of the easier...
  3. It's been fun but the JT had to go

Thanks to everyone on this forum for the help and friendly atmosphere. While out on the trails I nearly broke the rear LED taillight and realized it was just too much of a compromise all around for my specific needs. Having $55k wrapped up in a "do it all" truck while driving 3-4k miles a month...
  4. Diesel Tent Heater + Portable Battery Packs

I hadn’t heard of the propex heater but it looks like an even better option. We initially avoided the smaller propane powered radiant heaters due to condensation and concern for carbon monoxide but I didn’t know the propex existed. Looks like a great unit! Most of the power draw is on start up...
  5. Vehicle is loud while on the phone - has anyone tried a bluetooth mic you recommend?

No issues at all with the factory setup even with my soft top. My wife doesn't even realize I'm cruising 70mph when I talk to her. I had to have her drive it and call me so I could hear it for myself because I couldn't believe it was that clear.
  6. What do u have coming in the mail?

AEV 2" Mojave spacer lift my wife was so stoked when she found out the jeep is going to be more challenging to jump in
  7. Diesel Tent Heater + Portable Battery Packs

My wife and I are ready to set out on our winter camping trip to northern Colorado and Wyoming next month and decided to try this diesel powered heater to stay warm. I bought the Jackery 240 to power it, as well as a string of low watt LED Edison style lights for our campsite. It seems to pump...
  8. Installed JKS Geometry Correction Brackets on Mopar 2 inch with 35s

I had the OME lift on my Lexus GX and have to agree with you here. It rode extremely rough, to the point I replaced it with some Bilstein adjustable coilovers and new springs and shocks in the rear.
  9. 37” tires on Sport S a good idea??

35s on my factory 4.10 gears isn’t even really ideal. There’s no chance I’d want 37s on the stock gears. I’ll be moving to 4.88 when my 35s wear out and I replace them with 37s.
  10. 37” tires on Sport S a good idea??

If budget is a concern I would highly recommend not doing it New 37" tires and wheels will be well over $3k, not to mention the lift needed to fit them. Then there's the huge drop in mpg that will hit your wallet when you're filling up every 200 miles. Get some Rubicon/Mojave take-off 33s and...
  11. Q for you guys who flew/drove to pick up the gladiator and drove it back

Drove my Lexus there to trade it in, and drove the 2.5 hours back with no issues. Back country roads for the first hour and 75mph highway the rest of the way. 16k miles later no issues at all, and doesn't burn a drop of oil. I'm taking it in for it's second oil change today (oil life indicator...
  12. WHICH MODEL SHOULD I TRADE FOR???

Aside from seeing some modifications at an overland expo that you want but don't have, what is your Gladiator not delivering for you at the moment? What are you currently trying to do that your Jeep isn't capable of?
  13. Tazer JL Mini and Uconnnect

He should return it to factory setting, reboot, unmarry, update the Tazer via USB to computer to make sure it's up to date, and remarry it. Past that I'm thinking the Tazer is just kinda quirky just like everything else Jeep related lol. Hope he gets it resolved!
  14. Tazer JL Mini and Uconnnect

The Tazer shouldn't effect the Uconnect functionality at all. I have noticed some strange glitches with my Tazer/JT after installing it, but mostly around the reverse lights randomly turning on while I'm driving. However the Uconnect works as it should. Maybe try factory resetting it...
  15. FCA Group Navigation System.. Really

I've never used the factory navigation in any of my vehicles because Waze is so much better. Live updates, crowd sourced real time traffic/police updates, and a less clunky interface. I get they have to spend money on updates and then pay the tech that makes the update to customer vehicles...
  16. Temptations in a crazy market.

That's where my wife and I are at as well. Any profit from selling the house or vehicles will be wasted by overspending on their replacement.
  17. Temptations in a crazy market.

I remember seeing $10-15k off brand new F150s in 2016 when I was browsing. I saw used Ford Raptors in the $30k range without a ton of miles. I looked at a slightly used Silverado Z71 in the $20k range in 2014 but couldn't justify it since gas was $4 a gallon at the time. Cash for clunkers...
  18. Your Jeep's name

My wife calls it the Barbie Jeep because it's bright blue, shiny and has white wheels while my trail buddies all have beat up rigs. I keep telling her every time she calls it Barbie Jeep I will add a few mods to the list and eventually I'll run out of ideas and just start bashing body panels...
  19. Temptations in a crazy market.

I don't blame you. With fuel prices soaring, and this bubble forming I would bet money the market will correct itself in the next year or two. If you have a reliable daily in the mean time it potentially makes sense. Of course it's possible vehicle prices will continue rising, but I don't...
  20. ARB Single vs Dual and question on manifold

I'm in the process of upgrading to on board air for my JT and can't decide between the single and twin ARB compressor. I am 90% sure I'm just going to spend the bit extra for the Twin but has anyone purchased the single and been content with their decision? I air down to 15psi on my 35" BFGs...
