Do you have the MOPAR slush mats? They're not quite weathertech but they fit well and get the job done. I bought a set for ~$150 when I first got my JT because I couldn't get the weathertech set shipped in time for my first trip wheeling. Haven't felt the need to replace them.
*edit* just saw...
Lol, side with caution and you think people will take your exaggerated warning seriously? Okay, bud.
Your anecdotal evidence is using ridiculous hyperbole to justify your cosmetic modification, but being from Oklahoma it all makes more sense. Enjoy your bright white LEDs lol.
I drive 4k+ miles a month so the Gladiator has never been trailered anywhere lol. The lights on the Gladiator are pretty good compared to say.. my 63 Impala, or my old CJ7, XJs, etc.
I've never once had to turn my highbeams on, or flip my headlights on/off to verify they're on. Maybe you...
It's hyperbole like this that makes me stop and question forum advice. I'm glad you got what you want, but wheeling in the middle of nowhere has shown me that the stock halogens are more than capable of illuminating the path.
The more I see the LEDs, the more I agree.
We were driving home from New Mexico during the giant snowstorm in the south earlier this year, and the HID lights in our Navigator were a huge life saver since they produced enough heat to keep the headlights visible. People with LEDs were struggling...
I was kinda wishing I had the LED headlights/turn signals but given how much winter driving we do I don't know they'd be able to keep up with ice forming. Apparently I'm the only one that doesn't have an issue with the stock headlights. In the city there's enough street lights, and out in the...
Our 13 year old decided she was getting our Lexus when she turns 16 and was disappointed when we traded it for the Gladiator. Now she wants the Gladiator.
Foolish child has a hilarious future ahead with all of these absurd scenarios she thinks up in her head. She'll be lucky to get a used...
13k miles later...
I drove from DFW to Roswell, NM a couple times (driving straight there, spending a couple hours shooting, then heading straight back), Oklahoma a few times, Wichita, KS, and haven't had a single issue. It's really comfortable for long trips. I'm glad I got the Mojave with the...
Someone forgot to torque that nut down properly. There's no replacement that will be "better" if the nut isn't torqued down.
No mechanical parts failed in this thread. Both issues were user error and the same problem will happen with any aftermarket replacement.
Anecdotal evidence based on 1-2mpg observed difference is hardly a reason to waste money on more expensive fuel stations. It would have to be a blind test before it could even begin to hold water. Have your spouse randomly fill up the truck and not tell you where they went and see what the...
Not sure if it’s been said and I’m too lazy to read all of this but pop it on 4 lo a bunch and it gets easier with time. They’re kinda sticky new.
My neighbor has a set of 35s on his JK and they’re quieter than my 315 BFG KO2s. He seems to like them. Personally I’ve always had luck with the BFGs so I went with what I know works for me and I’ve been super happy so far. Can air down to 15psi for solid trail use and still handle my 100+ Mile...
The stock sway bar end links? I've never had an issue with them.
When I go wheeling I unbolt the passenger side link from the axle since there's a captive nut holding it down, and zip tie the link to the swaybar. Takes less than a minute with my Milwaukee M12 ratchet.
In 8+ Jeeps I've never...
Thanks for the pic. Looks like they forgot to torque down the nut and it vibrated loose. Not good service on the dealership’s part, but a bit different than the sway bar link shearing off. That had me perplexed
What does the Freedom share in common with the Rubicon, outside of basic Gladiator parts they all have?
I thought the Freedom was an appearance package for the Sport S trim?
