Perfect answers, thank you! Any chance you could give me the same measurement as pictured here in my reply for the Crusader sliders? I had your Crusader bumper on my JKUR and loved it.
@JcrOffroad a couple of questions for you.
1. How wide is the rear step portion of this bumper? The stock bumper is pretty narrow and does not give much footing when climbing up on it. Any chance you have a pic looking down on it?
2. What is the distance between the tailgate and the end of...
You are correct. I'm not sure where I got that 85lbs number from :(
I was reading on the Suspa (large manufacture of gas springs) site that the compressed force can be 305-80% greater than the extended force. So 125lbs struts might be pretty hard to get closed. I'll try and measure the...
Depending on what you have on your UD, those might not be strong enough. The ones that come with the UD are rated at 85lbs, so these only offer about 30lbs over the stockers for the pair. I'm going to look for some 125lbs struts. I don't mind having to sit on the end of the UD to get it to...
Has anyone installed stronger struts to lift more weight? The ones that came with mine can barely hold it up by its self in colder temps. I'm wanting to mount some other things on it and still have it stay up and not amputate my arms when I reach in from the side.
Did you ever do this or...
It is in the post right above yours... but here it is again for quick access. I did not fix the hinges in the field, I simply used a tree to pull the UD back in place (the struts were pushing it forward) and then used ratchet straps to secure it back in place until I got home and could remover...
I hit a large pot hole in a dirt road doing 20-25mph after about 45 minutes of driving down washboard roads at about the same speed. The only thing on the UD was some traction boards and some plastic ramps that I use to level my Off Grid Trailer, so no weight on it at all. You can see more...
Benny,
I tried searching your site for those part numbers and they do not show up. Can you post links to them or reply here with prices next to them please?
@RSI North America Inc Sorry, I've got another question for you. Do your engineers know what the distance is between the truck bed floor and the bottom of the bins are? Looking at the photos on the site it looks like it might be about 3" higher that the top of the bedside. But since that is...
Also, do you have a good photo of the inside top of the cap? The only one I could find is of the table component. It looks there are support bars on the inside that you can bolt into?
