We did Black Gap yesterday. Lots of washboard gravel road just to get to and from it. Black gap itself isn’t terribly difficult, but it’s narrow and some washed out places it’s hard to get a good approach angle and my tires were into my bumper and inner fender a few times articulated and...
I believe the Nittos grab rocks really well. We did some medium crawling this weekend with friends and as an experiment I stayed in 2wd and went everywhere they did in 4wd. Finessing the throttle I had very little tire slippage.
I run Nitto Terra Grapplers on 2 vehicles and love them, but have no clue about how they do in snow. I believe Recon replaced the Terra. They are heavier than BFG’s if that matters.

Has anyone tried getting an alignment shop to put a few more degrees of caster in? Or is it even adjustable on a jeep? When my 4wd Excursion started acting like it was going to wobble. (Never did a full death wobble) More caster angle cured it completely.
I also read somewhere that other...
My wife likes both. I don’t care one way or the other really. Our daughter customized some red ducks they give away. They don’t duck unless the other jeep has some on the dash. Not everyone appreciates the sentiment.
Not mine, but I have seen this dog and jeep out at Hidden Falls. Amazing to watch, and they climb some gnarly stuff. The dog absolutely loves it, and is living his best life.
