  1. Winch battery disconnect switch, to install it, or not to install it...

My TJ came with a winch and was wired neatly with a nice disconnect switch mounted close to the battery, which is probably the ā€œrightā€ way to do it, but I hate having to raise the hood to use it,or potentially get to it to turn off if there was a short or something. I would prefer the...
  2. Dreaded Misfire P0300

Lol why? Are they trying to sell injectors? Lol
  3. Dreaded Misfire P0300

I do have a diagnostic fuel pressure guage I could put on it and watch while reproducing the miss. (If I can find it)
  4. Dreaded Misfire P0300

Possibly, but have run a few tanks of fuel through it and still has an intermittent miss under hard acceleration, and when it first started doing it I was a half tank into a full top off at a station I use all the time. I will dump a bottle of Heat in the tank though and see if that helps...
  5. FIRECRACKER RED Gladiator JT Club

Me too me too! Lol. Bought this in Oct with upgrades already on it. Except I did 1.5ā€ spacer lift on front to get it close to level. The wife is a Stephen King fan and named it Pennywise. Thus the decal in the back glass.
  6. Dreaded Misfire P0300

Sorry for the long post. Our first 3+ hour highway road trip after purchasing this ā€˜22 model in October, (22k miles), about 2 hours in it started missing pulling hills like it’s starving for fuel and eventually lit the check engine light. It had a half tank, but I fueled up anyway just to...
  7. Flat towing Jeep Rubicon

For others info…. A decent aftermarket bumper with d-ring tow locations can be bought for about what a blue ox base plate costs. And then all you need is $50 adapters to adapt to your current tow bar. (estimated costs as I don’t remember specifics). My JT came with a Rugged Ridge bumper...
  8. Texas Trail Editions -- were Fox Rubicon shocks standard ?

2022. JT TT. 1.5ā€ front spacer level kit. Rugged Ridge bumper, T-Rex 9500# winch. 305/70R/17 Terra Grapplers. Fab Fours tube rock sliders.
  9. Texas Trail Editions -- were Fox Rubicon shocks standard ?

Interested in seeing pics and mods. And I have a question… were Fox Rubicon shocks standard on TT’s? Bought our 2022 used and it has them.
  10. Texas Trails in a Texas Trail

So me being technically challenged, …the app is usable from a device only? or can somehow be used on the Jeep’s touchscreen?
  11. Where do you "off-road" in Texas?

Just found this thread. Not so much off road per se but some off pavement and scenery. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/texas-overland-trail.38648/
  12. Where do you "off-road" in Texas?

We’re 3+ hours from the beach, but there’s dozens of places to enter the beach on NorthPadre Island. For instance Port Aransas keeps their beach groomed nicely and it’s very wide. The farther you go south the less groomed and populated the beach is and it can get rutted up and loose from...
  13. For those that DON'T like "ducking"

Our friend couldn’t wait to get her jeep and start ducking people. We bought ours in October and duck every now and then and keep just a few special ones on the dash. This person is all in lol.
  14. Where do you "off-road" in Texas?

Agree there are other states easier to find places to wheel, but we don’t have some of their problems either. I’ll take living in Tx over any of them. We also have a RZR and do the beaches around Corpus (the National Seashore beach is 60 miles long and can get sketchy) and Matagorda and trails...
  15. Texas Check In

Hello from Canyon Lake! Just bought a ā€˜22 Texas Trail in October.
  16. Hidden Falls this weekend, any tips?

We’re camping out there New Years weekend with 2 other couples. Had some rain so should be less dusty than last time we went. We usually take side by sides but ours is broke and we all have Jeeps now.
