I don’t think so, this was a JTR and also he said he wasn’t on the forums... yet.

Should we get a Chino Hills meet going?
I know there’s a huge car meet on Saturday at Lowe’s off of Chino Hills Pkwy/Ramona. Get there around 7pm if we want to...
Thanks. I agree that it’s confusing and crazy that we don’t have confirmation yet! You’d think that Jeep would highlight the thicker axle tubes on their press materials if it were truly the case as seems like a pretty big deal. Hoping Benny can add some clarity. The fronts will be different for...
Autoweek claims that the Mojave axles are heavier-duty than Rubicon. I think they are wrong, but they actually cite tube thicknesses... Where are they getting their info from?! Perhaps they are comparing to the Sport / Overland axles, not realizing the Max Tow / Rubicon axles are already beefed...

I dunno, I have a great time in my BMW and a Lotus Evora I rented last month. Both have flappy paddles that turn with the steering wheel, as do all Porsches with their excellent PDK. I also keep my hands on 9 & 3 (relative to the wheels) and I don't shift my hands around when I'm...
I use it every once in a while (yesterday) to pretend my JT is a sports car. With the ZF 8 tranny, it sure feels like one...
I'm biased to prefer it the way it is. It's the same orientation in my BMW, which also uses the ZF gearboxes.
Replacing a damaged rear driveshaft with a stock MOPAR one and need torque specs for the 8 bolts on each end of the driveshaft.
I see 80 ft-lbs thrown around a lot for upgraded driveshafts, but I those use larger and less bolts for the u-joints. No idea for the stock cv-jointed flanges on mine...
I but some black electrical tape over the key. Cut it so it’s a super clean look, can’t tell it’s there. Press the button all you want, it’s not flipping open :)
$4 for 66 feet. I used 1.5”. Ok, maybe 3” cause I wanted to redo it for a cleaner install :)
I agree that the replacing the steering stabilizer will not correct death wobble. This is because, as I’ve mentioned in my previous post, we are not describing death wobble. It is a different issue. A very loud vibration and violent shaking coming from underneath the vehicle. During the event...
Interesting! That could very well explain the reasoning behind the TSB I mentioned. I was very skeptical that the stabilizer replacement would address my vibration issue but looks like there is some logic to it. Here it is so you don’t have to dig in the other thread:
I saw the service tech’s...
No, not every vehicle. But when a manufacturer comes out with something that is so obviously targeted at the same segment as our trucks, of course we will talk about it. I don’t see the issue with that.
Now, if we started a 20-page discussion on the new Kia Telluride, I would have a problem.
Perhaps it’s vehicle dependent? I’m having a hell of a time finding the PN for the carrier bearing itself. I can only find complete rear driveshaft assemblies...
