Overall I bought the diesel primarily for the torque. But I'll say that from what I am hearing, the mpg difference is significant when putting on heavier tires, to the point where fuel savings does make a difference. I.e., 12-14 mpg on the highway for my 37" equipped JLU vs 18-20 mpg on the...
That's great to hear. What about just pulling into a driveway where there's the curb part? You don't get any movement in the cabin stock but often times, once you lift -- you get that sway/movement. In fairness, my JL setup was a very soft Fox shock (notorious for softer ride), and EVO's plush...
For those with the kit how does it drive compared to stock? And specifically both in terms of ride quality and bump steer...
I do not prefer the Mopar stuff for suspension and would prefer to piece together a kit (i.e., King 2.5's with adjusters + springs + arms) but that's proving difficult...
Just picked up mine last night. The power is awesome. We'll see how she does from a reliability standpoint. The way the math fell I got what I paid for my JL two years ago (and 26,000 miles -- granted I did leave about $4k in mods on it including tires, though they had 20k on em), and $5k of...
I'm trying to find the same thing... bought a gladiator today that I will be taking delivery of tomorrow and while it's getting the top painted, tinted, xpel'd, etc -- I'd like to figure out the dual battery situation. Sounds like it's not possible (yet). I'll poke around and see if there's room...
I would have told them to eat it, and then pay to have it removed so I could have a proper bed liner installed later. I would NOT want the factory liner.
Well, they certainly 'explicitly' marked it as excluded after it was for sale, but they never 'explicitly' included it either. So no wrong on their part.
However, if the dealer told them it was available, we know how that will play out.
I don't think it was ever included was it? The Gladiator was always a 2020 MY. There still is not a list of Eligible models available for 2020 MY, even on the current published terms. So no assumptions should have been made there. If they gave him something, I don't think it was the actual terms...
Let us know what they say. I still stand by that you should ask for your order to be canceled and go elsewhere, disputing the credit card charge if necessary, unless you are super duper stuck on taking delivery of this exact Jeep.
Wait. How do you have money on it then?
If it's on a credit card and nothing is in writing as you said -- I would tell them you're canceling the order. If they refuse to refund the deposit I would dispute the credit card charge as they are changing the terms (indirectly) and they can't provide...
No, that's a terrible deal. I would wait. I would not accept any price above 6% below invoice. There's just no reason to -- that will be the going rate once it dies down, which won't take very long. Maybe another two to three months at most. Seems like a no brainer to save another $2k.
You can add Airpark Dodge Jeep Chrylser to that shit list here in Phoenix, unless they have somehow already started adding parts to their 'in transit' vehicle already LOL.
It doesn't make sense that they would take orders May 7 and then wait 4+ months to build them. If banks open May 7, I bet we see July deliveries. This would also line up with the 2020 MY.
My bone stock '19 JLUR went through trails that were "rated" for 35"+ tires (6-7+ ratings), including the last obstacle on Golden Spike, without issue (many folks winch up here). No damage. Used skid plates and rock sliders for sure, but that's what they are designed for. The crack was fun too...
I'm really hoping they'll be making the Sport soon... I'm itching to put my order in so I can transfer the guts of my 09 over. Did not want to order anything above that trim level as it would just be a waste (incl. automatic locks, windows, etc). Literally just want a base Sport + hard top as...
Not sure. But less than the 1500, and probably more than the Tacoma. I don't think this will be a work truck like the 1500. And it will probably be more money than the 1500 and the Tacoma as well. As such, I'm not sure if it's positioned to eat into the 1500 sales regardless of payload...
If it makes you feel any better...
1) If the truck sales are low or average, it will be easy to get one since they won't be selling fast. Dealers are anticipating these things to sell, and will be stocking them. As such, if they don't sell, they will sit on lots.
2) If the truck sales are...
Why do you think it will be hard to obtain one? I have no doubt it will be similar to walking into a dealership and getting a standard 4 door JK Rubicon. Easy. This isn't a Porsche GT car.
Additionally, the JT production cycle will run eight years based on it starting two years into the...
