  1. Diesel rotopax

No idea unless it’s mostly flat without much wind. In that scenario at 65 I’m def getting better than 23. It’s been windy lately.
  2. Dead 2021 Gladiator Ecodiesel

When I had my JL in non stop rain I had absolutely no leaks. That's pretty bad. But then again, my brand new JT was missing a push pin on the front driver side fender liner and nearly ripped off the entire liner on the highway with 100 miles on it. So yes, def. QC issues. Little surprised...
  3. Dead 2021 Gladiator Ecodiesel

Honestly the best bet is just to rip that garbage Mopar battery out and stick something better in it. Then again, warranty, so I didn't bother on my JL. I hear you on the drives to nowhere. Only thing that keeps me sane right now.
  4. Lifts for ecodiesel

The Mopar kit is a good option if you can get your hands on it. It's not very expensive. Long term it wouldn't be the kit I would want though. But at like $1500... hard to argue being a test customer.
  5. Eco Diesel lift

I'll report back once my franken lift is installed (not going coil overs). I'm running 2.5" King adjustable reservoir shocks, King 2.0 air bumps, Rock Krawler diesel JL springs up front, Rock Krawler JT springs out back. The rest is the Currie JT kit minus the front sway bar since I didn't want...
  6. Def fill? 2100 miles?

I'm at 1100 miles and have 40% DEF left.
  7. Diesel rotopax

Seems right. I'm only getting 20-21 on the highway stock with wind. In the city flat road long stretches I'm getting 25-26 and then highway assuming flat and no wind I'm getting 25-26... but that's unrealistic conditions. For instance, I think going up to Flagstaff and back assuming 70 mph I'm...
  8. Weight Savings: EcoDiesel

I'm not advocating being over the GVWR but there's many well published folks out there doing it without issue. 1k over is a different story, but if I'm a couple hundred pounds over, I'm not too concerned. My avail payload is like ~945. Very low. I would never do anything like a rear seat...
  9. Ordering a Gladiator in Arizona

Worst dealer in the valley. Too bad— they were great until 2015 or so.
  10. Hypertension Sting Gray Mojave Build

Did you notice much difference from the sound deadening/heat shield material you used?
  11. AEV Front Bumper Released For JT Gladiator!

At least it's girthy. In fairness, this might push the camera into a spot where it's easier to see objects in front of you, could be wrong. Overall, the bumper looks good, but for the price, I just don't see the point of buying this over the Mopar one. I admit I'm a pretty big fan of AEV (I...
  12. AEV Front Bumper Released For JT Gladiator!

That looks nice and seems to follow the stock lines nicely.
  13. AEV Front Bumper Released For JT Gladiator!

You're comparing apples and oranges though. $380 is an extreme example. I think their target is someone who would normally prefer a bumper like the mopar steel -- which, makes their price even more confusing LOL.
  14. AEV Front Bumper Released For JT Gladiator!

I don't know why anyone would buy this over the Mopar steel front which is around $500 less including the winch plate and bull bar. Obviously less if you just buy someone's take off. I don't think it offers any better clearance, or any additional functionality. Initially, back when I had my...
  15. Percent below invoice for on lot

I'm basing this off you paying $52,225 for the JT vs $58,225 MSRP. That means you are paying roughly 89.6% of MSRP. For reference, here is my order on my wife's 2 DR JLR. - $58,560 MSRP - $50,858 Price ----------------- ~86.8% of MSRP In total, that's a 2.8% difference (percentage terms) from...
  16. Next round of colors?

Color wise, I went with white because I didn't care for any of the color options besides Hydro and thus will wrap it instead. We went with Chief Blue for the wife's 2 door (will be delivered likely in Jan '21) so I didn't want a blue. So the current plan is to get PPF on the vehicle and then...
  17. Next round of colors?

He's a really nice guy -- he's not intentionally ignoring you. Call and leave a voice mail -- try for a couple of days in a row, and you will get through and get your order placed. It took me an email and two calls, and then boom, order in. We put my wife's 2 dr JLR in on Nov 25. Super nice guy...
  18. Why the Overland

Actually is really easy to add! It's just a topper. Harder to swap the door panels I think... researching that next.
  19. Mopar Diesel Gladiator Part #: 77072469AC 2” lift

Glad to hear it rides great! I didn't realize that kit came with 2.5's. That's a plus for sure. RE: piecing together kits, I'm actually going against my own advice as well on that one but: 1) I want to run 40's occasionally when I go to Moab a couple times a year. 2) I am hoping the diesel rock...
  20. How long it would take Diesel Engine MPG to pay for itself

Not sure if my numbers are right but I was estimating about $500 a year between oil/DEF. I was changing the oil 3x a year on the 2.0 at a tune of about $180. So a difference of $320. There's about a 50 cents a gallon difference for me for JT vs JLUR. But yeah, I didn't buy it for fuel savings...
