  1. Front coil spring recommendation with rear 2 inch spacer (max tow)

From looking at synergy's site, their lift amount takes inter consideration a winch and steel bumper. So I plan to grab the 2 inch lift synergy springs. Just posting so others that may come across this get an answer.
  2. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Decided to take the next camp trip without the trailer. So with a snorkel and max trax, do I get my official overlander card now? I cut a little chanel in the truck bed cover to with the rack. The cover still doesn't open very far. But I plan to build a rail system for it later.
  3. Front coil spring recommendation with rear 2 inch spacer (max tow)

Yup! Most likely 34" AT, not sure which yet. Just have to decide spring or pucks in the front. I'm leaning towards a 2.5 spring to offset the winch, but my worry is that a 2.5 lift springs will be designed to carry a winch.
  4. Front coil spring recommendation with rear 2 inch spacer (max tow)

2inch spacer in the rear to keep the Max Tow springs back there. But the front can be a spacer or a coil. The front is sagging from the winch so just the spacer may not be enough.
  5. Front coil spring recommendation with rear 2 inch spacer (max tow)

Hey all, Looking to keep the max tow spring in the rear so I got a 2 inch spacer lift for the rear. What's the recommendation for the front? I have the 2 inch spacer for the front but I can already see it sagging under the winch and thin steel bumper weight. I want to keep at least the...
  6. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Current mpg is 18.4 after 13k miles. Let's see if anything changes on the mpg. I didn't suspect it will
  7. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Intake is on and in the low mode. What a PITA to install. I hope I don't have to get at the fuse box soon because it completely blocks the fuse box
  8. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Thanks! Yea. I already have the TJ for anything crazy. But it's no longer the long road trip reliable vehicle I need it to be.
  9. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Got my Amfib snorkel in. Not super keen on the black plastic look so I sanded the texture down and paint matched it. Install soonish My makeshift paint booth. This way I can close it and keep the bugs off as it dries.
  10. How To: Opt Out of Jeep Data Harvesting and sharing.

This podcast is where I first heard about the data selling. In general it's a pretty great podcast. Minus the privacy concerns, my general worry is that bad drivers around you can cause your insurance premiums to go up. The SF bay area is particularly bad with that. And road design can force...
  11. How To: Opt Out of Jeep Data Harvesting and sharing.

Not seeing anywhere where you acknowledged a fact and became less than happy ?‍♂️
  12. How To: Opt Out of Jeep Data Harvesting and sharing.

I don't get where the connection is lacking here. It is FACT that GM was selling your data to data brokerage companies. You can click through this to the paywall time article. But in case you don't feel like clinking a link I've also quoted what they said to the times...
  13. Picked up New Max Tow Sport S..Traded Rubicon. Very pleased!

My start/stop didn't work right from the dealership either.
  14. Show us what camper / trailer / RV you're towing with your JT

1945 bantam t3c with a a smittybilt RTT. Tows great behind the TJ or JT. Working on a custom hard bed cover and drawer system now.
  15. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Here are some photos from my modifications to the JCR rack. I'm not quite done yet. But these make the rack work with the hard bed cover. Without modification the rack hits the same locations the bed cover bolts into. I plan to make it a bit shorter and reduce how much it overhangs the edges...
  16. Bed racks and roll-up hard-top tonneau covers?

I have a JCR rack and gator hard trifold. A roll or quad fold should be fine. The hard cover rails don't sit flush without a little modification to let the JCR rack mounts through. The main problem is the trifold can't fold all the way back. But I also modified mine so who knows
  17. Almost Rubicon - Family camper, weekend overlander, TJ tower

Putting my build thread together I call it an almost Rubicon since it's the max tow setup. The wider/stronger axles with limited slip(vs lockers) but the computer "lockers" that work just fine for what I do with this gladiator. It has the 8 speed. The real difference is the transfer case not...
