Youāll love it, just make sure you protect it right away against rusting. Oh yeah, the license plate bracket⦠it doesnāt hold a chance against a 37 degree free fall on Fins and Things š
I have a plethora of tools in the truck right now. Yesterday knocked the rear track bar loose and one end link mount was starting to fail. Tightened everything up and today finished off both end link mounts. Not much can be done with that. Those stock mounts are as thick as a soda can lol
Iām hoping they will be at Jeep Bash with some discounts, I have those in my cart right now just waiting for the time to come. Iām trying to see if they can just bring a set with them and Iāll install them in the parking lot š
Hit Poison Spider today and had an absolute blast. Favorite trail of all time. Broke both rear sway bar link frame mounts so Iāll have to take it easy on the 11 hour drive home. Did Hells Revenge and Fins n Things yesterday. Had plans of Top of the World tomorrow but weāre just beat up and need...
Youāre not going to notice an mpg difference between the two tires. Iād stick to the skinny ones. Youāre talking about less than 10% heavier vs roughly 10% wider and less than 10% more rolling resistance. Iād say itās a wash.
99% sure Metalcloak has one. I just saw crossmembers on their website a few days ago but donāt remember if it was front or mid. It seemed like they might have had both? I remember seeing two different ones
I have a 22 JTOD 37s and 3.73s, also have a 24 JLU Willys gas with 37s and 4.10s, traded the 18 JLU sport with 35s on 3.42s or whatever that highway gear was. I wouldnāt regear any of them.
This dude doing 5.13s on 33s š
I cruise at 75 all day long in 8th gear at less than 1800 rpm. Iām on 37s with 3.73s. Enjoy your 3000rpm cruising š
My guess would be all the weight in the rear has your front end feeling floaty. I am not 100% sure on how to fix that. I really canāt see steering components resolving the issue, seems more like a suspension piece to me.
The 24 Wranglers are the same way. You can buy any lift that fits 18-23 for MY24, you just have to use some bushings to make it fit.

Those are steps from the Overland model, mine came with those too and I couldnāt wait to get rid of them. I sold them with hardware for 50 bucks, had maybe 2000 miles on them. Then I turned around and bought Mopar rock rails for 50 bucks. You might get lucky and find someone like me who just...
The difference is negligible, you donāt need a leveling kit. I would consider leveling the front with 35s, and I ran 37s with just a level on mine before I lifted it.
Looks great šš»
If yours came with a little bracket that looks like it holds a light bar, you can bolt it to the bottom holes of the bumper and use it for your license plate. Get the screws tight enough so the license plate isnāt flipping around but also tight enough that you can tuck it up...
