I’ve seen/heard nothing but bad things about forced induction on the pentastar engine, hopefully your guys are able to crack the code and it goes well for you.
Since you have a JTOD like me you’ll want to add a little more lift than what a Rubicon needs for clearance.
2-2.5” for 35s
3-3.5” for 37s
4-4.5” for 40s
I’m at 4.5” front and 3” rear with 37s. I still rub when wheeling, but I wheel it pretty hard. Going to 22s it’s probably a safe bet to say...
This is 100% the route I’ll be taking when the time comes. I’m actually just going to end up doing truetrak front and rear when the rear lsd wears out. After watching people struggle in Moab and being able to climb up no problem with LSD I’m a firm believer in it now.
Yellow dot should be near valve stem as it’s the lightest or softest part of the tire. Red dot is generally the lowest, heaviest, or flattest part of the tire. The rest of the numbers and colors have nothing to do with you.
All good buddy! I was topless and doorless down at the end with my group. Had a great time, wifey won the gladiator front springs which doesn’t help me out one bit 😂
Except they missed a lot of money at Jeep Bash yesterday. I was ready to pick up the same control arms in person and one of my wrangler guys was dead set on an MC long arm kit but they never showed up. That was just two of us out of 450 Jeeps. Oh well, next time.
I have a brand new Westin sitting on the garage floor. It came with holes for parking sensors but I don’t have those, so I welded up the holes, just gotta grind em smooth and have it powder coated. I can’t wait to see the end result on yours though. Maybe in the future, we’ll see.
I’m sure it has! Are you planning on a tow hitch with that setup? I rarely tow but I do have a small bass boat and occasionally use my neighbor’s trailer for dump runs.
