Good evening ALL! hope everyone had a good day... SO QUESTION...

I have a '22 Jeep Gladiator Overland EcoDiesel, stock height, Banks Derringer and Pedal Monster and running Toyo 33/12.5r17. Love my gas mileage but I feel like I'm not doing my jeep right without a lift. I'm getting ready to go to 22s and run 40s. How much of a lift will I need to get this setup to fit? Please help with Height of lift, Brand of lift, type of shocks... Please and thank you. I appreciate everyone's input.

Really depends on how you use it. I can’t say for sure because I don’t run 40s. Do you go off-road or will it only be on pavement? That could be the difference between a 4ā€ lift and a 6ā€ lift….it could also open up a can of worms into whether or not you need to upgrade your axles. 40s are heavy bitches.

This is without a doubt the most open ended question on the forums. I’m not falling for this one, someone must have hacked your account.

this is my daily… but when I do my lift and racks and wheels and tires. It won’t be. Mainly will be hitting the beach and traveling from Florida to MO, a little off roading. Overlanding more like it. Hitting trails that are established, not paved but established.

Since you have a JTOD like me you’ll want to add a little more lift than what a Rubicon needs for clearance.

2-2.5ā€ for 35s
3-3.5ā€ for 37s
4-4.5ā€ for 40s

I’m at 4.5ā€ front and 3ā€ rear with 37s. I still rub when wheeling, but I wheel it pretty hard. Going to 22s it’s probably a safe bet to say you won’t be doing any off roading with it. I’d like another half inch in the rear of mine, but with the right bump stops I could run 40s.

nope not wheeling much or rock climbing, just pavement, beach and rack&tent ā€œoverlandingā€. Nothing major that would flex the vehicle. Thanks for the input. I’m thinking of going 4.5 or 6.5 with the EvoMFG lift for the diesel. Pretty legit lift.

Then why 40s? Truck is taller to climb into for overland camping. Definitely don't need that size tire to drive on the sand.

This is my JTRD with 4" with 37's. I wheel it hard. I could fit 40's.
