I'm liking this pic VERY MUCH because it looks a lot like the build I am in the process of. I will install the MC 3.5 Game Changer, BFG KM3 39x13.5, and a similar bumper style to the XRC 2nf Gen. I will explore spring options, thanks for the heads up. How was the tire clearance, any fender...
The EVO VR series is made in a China factory that only produces Warn winches in conformance with the strict specifications dictated by the Warn USA engineering, design and testing requirements. Some people may have a preconceived notion that Chinese manufactured always means it's a lower...
My second build I had a portable Viair which cost $240 (years ago) and took 40 minutes to air up four 35" tires. My third build was a JK where I had a $750 Power Tank system which aired up four 37" tires in 5 minutes, but I hated driving to fill it, paying $30 per tank that only lasted 6-7 runs...
The price is good. But you should also consider there are different perspectives to synthetic versus metal cable. Synthetic is safer if it were to snap and floats on water. However synthetic is a lot more expensive, the sun degrades the material so you must buy a winch cover too, and it frays...
Story of my life is initially trying to save a buck but then in thinking about it more I realize what I really need to be happy. Down side being I'm impatient, so I'll either run out of funds quickly and then have to phase my projects or go into debt.
I decided on the Metalcloak Overland Tube Fenders and lnner Fenders sets. Pricey but it's the look I must have.

I'd like to run 39's and ditch the plastic fenders. However, I'm not spending $1K on fender flares. There are a few options that are reasonable and which I like.

OH $HIT, this sounds like bad news for me. I placed an order, the sales dud said he expects delivery in about 3 months...I'm in line along with 20 other WISHFUL orders :(
Edit: I also just called Michelin and they confirmed the BFG KM3 39X13.5R17 will not be produced in the next 4 weeks, and...
I understand the ideal BS is 3.5, but the wheel I want has BS at 4.6, so they are positioned inward by an inch more than the ideal. I prefer a wider stance, and to push the wheel outwards I will run a 2" spacer. Hutchinson Rock Monster Double Beadlock is DOT approved, I know that may sound...
If this was a large truck towing a 20,000 pound load I may understand a concern for the spacer to crack, but proper installation of a good quality hub-centric spacer on a Jeep should not cause concern.
OMG please help me to get the right lift the first time! What do you have experience with that works well, or maybe not so well?
2022 JT Rubicon (gas)
I’m paying for 8 hours of shop labor, so not going to buy a longarm that requires 25-30 hours to install.
What would you purchase if you were...
I really love the video, it's a new inspiration for my build. You drive smart, had great spotters, and I'd like to wheel with you guys sometime. I just purchased a 2022 JT Sarge Geen Rubicon, and today ordered BFG Mud Terrain 39x13.50 and Hutchinson Rock Monster double beadlocks. I'm considering...

This is the suspension lift I'm considering. I plan to raise 4" to run 39x13.50 BFG Mud Terrain KM3 tires.
Who has this 3" to 5" lift? I could use some insight from somebody with first hand advice.

I'm surprised to not hear there was a sense of power loss or a sluggish feel. Your post makes me question my plan of upgrading to a 5.13 gear set. I appreciate you sharing the experience, as I am several weeks away from mounting 40's and curious to see what your thoughts are after a day out on...
I know there are mixed opinions on gearing. On my JK I ran 37's with 4.88s and thought that was close to stock. If I were to run 38s I'd feel like I was on the fence and could go either way. For 39s I think 5.13 will give me what I need without overly reducing contact with the face of the gears...
