  1. Aussie Gray Rubicon

Thanks Mac Attack. Not a huge lover of Vegemite but every now and then a light spread on hot buttered toast is the bomb. Talking of the Southern Cross Im trying to find someone, Etsy or elsewhere that can do a JT Fuel Flap decal of the Eureka Stockade Flag or the Gadsden Flag.
  2. Aussie Gray Rubicon

Given the lower load mass on the Gladiator, Down Under, and the increasing indications that various state police will likely start road side weighing 4WDs under the guise of 'compliance' but more likely from revenue raising driven by our nanny state elected politicians and then combine that with...
  3. Aussie Gray Rubicon

Well lets just say this isn't my first rodeo. But I didn't think I would be doing a build just twelve months after I started my last. Likely the same with our American cousins the used car market Down Under went bat shit crazy the last twelve months with COVID. And after seeing a lot of change...
  4. Wheels Australia Tests Jeep Gladiator against 10 other Utes.

CIT not picking a fight just some points to consider from my perspective... The Gladiator isnt big in Australia. I just sold my RAM 1500 Laramie (lifted and running 35s to buy my Gladiator) The Ram is big. But only in the domain of length. A RAM 1500 is 7mm, just over 1/4", wider than the 200...
  5. GPS Options - Members Thoughts on Pros & Cons

Great info men. My iphone has worked well but like some have mentioned trying to navigate when I have not had maps or routes downloaded into GAIA the phone doesn't work. It is looking like the Garmin Overlander is better suited option. Especially given very limited 4G / 5G reception in Australia
  6. Oil grade recommendation outside the US?

In my JKU CRD IIRC it was 5W-20 for the US but being warmer out here I ran 5W-30. Yep so there can be a difference.

Owners Handbook recommends API Certified SAE 0W-20 Engine Oil
  8. GPS Options - Members Thoughts on Pros & Cons

TFA it would appear so. I'm no expert ArmyMP but I have somewhat level of distrust for MIcrosoft atm. Apple is likely not much different though. But I'm willing to compare the specs, available apps and sizes between iPad and Surface Pro.
  9. Oil grade recommendation outside the US?

cb I'll check it out tonight. I am coming up on 800km in my Gladiator and will be doing a oil change at 1000km .
  10. GPS Options - Members Thoughts on Pros & Cons

Gidday all. One of the uses for my Gladiator is accessing Public Lands in New South Wales and Victoria for Hunting. It is a legal requirement in New South Wales to carry a GPS on ones person whilst hunting in the State Forests with the quarterly downloadable map loaded. (The maps show up to...
  11. Baja Designs LP6 wiring idea

KHAm did you tap at the headlight block or use a 'add a tap fuse' back in the fuse box?
  12. High Beam Dipping of Driving Lights / LED Bar

KHAm beautiful work. I did simplify my question to not over complicate and confuse the members as I am a industrial Electrical Fitter. Here in Australia, strictly by the law it is illegal to have driving lights / LED Bars work independently switched. That is, they can only come on when the...
  13. High Beam Dipping of Driving Lights / LED Bar

Guys I have picked up my Gladiator Rubicon and I am lining up my ducks on parts and accessories. A query that maybe you blokes could help me with is availability of after market wiring harnesses to facilitate operation of driving lights, both turning on and turning them off when you dip your...

The Falcon Shocks look like a very well built and designed shock. Congrats on a sweet build.
  15. Weight? Mass? How much does it Weigh?

Well if members can message me info I will start putting it together.
  16. Weight? Mass? How much does it Weigh?

Guys and Gals many of us are watching the weight of the aftermarket accessories that we add to our Gladiators. And it would seem common practice across, at least, the US and Australia that the majority of manufacturers don't include the actual weights of their accessories in the specs listed on...
  17. The Grey Girl

The Sting Grey certainly looks awesome in austere country.
  18. Any Australia owners here ? Need help

JTRUBI so you are on Lake Macquarie? I'm up the top end of the Lake.
  19. The Grey Girl

Well my last vehicle has been sold and I'm counting the days, seven of them, till I drive out of the dealers showroom in my new Sting Grey Gladiator Rubicon. This will be my second Jeep following on from my second last car the JK Wrangler Unlimited CRD. And it will be my fourth Chrysler; My...
