Thanks for the added information, definitely is more appealing knowing there are options. I'm running a full bed rack now and a custom made hi clearance rear bumper with dual swingout tire carrier and jerry can holder but love the idea of the a flatbed (not the price necessarily haha)...

Oh and I would really like a slide out drawer in addition to the side tool boxes...your design is very utilitarian, but not really built for overlanding in my opinion.

Agreed! the only time I have ever "smoked" a clutch in my JT or my JK was in reverse trying get a trailer backed up an incline or parked in soft ground avoiding a tree nearby. I was moving a large equipment hauler (empty about 1,600 lbs) with a pintle hitch (really hard to get them to swing)...

For reference, I put 140,000 miles on my RAM eco and never went into limp mode because of regen. One time I picked it up from the dealership and had to go right to the highway because it went into the regen "zone" during their troubleshooting, but otherwise I guess I always had more than enough...

Also, if you need a regen, I'm pretty sure you can monitor it on the dash on one of the engine pages

It's been a while, but my ecodiesel on my RAM 1500 could be get through a regen in about 15-20 mins at highway speeds if I remember correctly.
