Just found out I have the same issue. Updated last weekend. My dealer is 50mi away, don’t really want to go if I dont have to. Anyone fix this issue?
I love the proximity locks. I ordered mine in Dec, and yeah, it was mandatory. I have never used the buttons on my fob, though. Took off the advanced safety group, didn’t need THAT much tech. Very happy with it all
Nothing compares to MetalCloak quality. However, not everyone needs to be able to bounce off rocks with ease. JCR is another good option; I’ve had plenty of their products. Theirs isn’t a tube fender, though.
I’d personally stay away from any Smittybilt and Rugged Ridge products. Their finish...
I know. And if you read his original post you’ll see what his issue was. I only was only commenting that a switch in the bed was a more reasonable request than some of the crazy shit people expect to be standard in this thread.
Yeah, I was more saying I paid a lot more money for the JT to let it get wet that much, not that I was afraid it was delicate lol. Because Jeep definitely tested the hell out of it.
My JK was the Jeep of my 20s; I’m 30 now and don’t need to prove myself. Let em call me a mall crawler, I’m still...
I ran no top or doors in Guam for two years straight. Years later when I replaced the radio (it never stopped working), I noticed some scale buildup. So it probably shortened it’s lifespan, but I replaced it with a marine unit before that actually happened.
At the same time, it only takes one...
There is a specific reason cooled seats aren’t an option. I don’t remember exactly, it’s talked about in one of the threads here, maybe about seat covers?
Also, I assume this is just a for fun thread because otherwise y’all are talking about making things standard that would add considerably to...
Maybe press the screen button on the dash a couple times?
I updated mine too, don’t know what updates were included, does anyone know where I can find this info? Or a page that regularly has this info on updates?
I do remember the side mirror markers- that is a pricey swap I’d imagine. Generally they (English mechanics) just slapped an led strip on the side of the doors of any US vehicles that needed a euro conversion; looked terrible.
Sounds like a pretty straightforward conversion, thank god. Is there a list or source somewhere where you were able to see the parts needed and part numbers?
