  1. GOBI Gladiator JT Club

Anyone running silver wheels? Maybe on a rubi? I’ve been convinced I’d get the XD FMJs when I replace my tires, but I can’t shake the feeing that all-brushed wheels would really pop on a gobi
  2. SHOW ME YOUR WHEELS!

I’ve been pretty set on the FMJs for my Gobi when I replace my tires, but I’m leaning now towards an all-brushed color... I think it would really look good, not too much silver these days (feel free to prove me wrong, I’d love to see it).
  3. Water fording question.

It’s fording. And for what it’s worth, I’ve both forded some deep-ish water, and had my top/doors off for two entire years in Guam in my JK, and no related electrical problems. When people kill their vehicles in shallow water, it means they were going too fast.
  4. Export Tail lights on NA Spec Gladiator

Commenting because there is a strong possibility I’ll be getting stationed in Europe again the next couple years, and my JK was royally screwed last time I let them do the conversion in-country. Started having issues in Guam, and they had to completely rewire my lights. Mind-blowing...
  5. Gladiator Fiberglass Shell

Looks like the worlds longest lj... lol it looks really nice. I’m really leaning towards ARE, but I 1) don’t know their actual roof capacity, and 2) if they’re making an HD. How much does your cap weigh? Wasn’t sure if I read their chart correctly, but if it’s at 175, that’s not much heavier...
  6. Rock Lights tied to bed lights and reverse

I think I might like the cool factor of tapping into the bed lights, but I’m really considering just getting this KC kit and wiring it all directly to Aux 1. Your write up has inspired me, but I’m not quite on that level lol. Good work
  7. Military Members

In since 2011, been RED HORSE the past 7 years, currently at the 823d. Wife just got orders to Greenland, so I’ll be joining her at her follow on. I’ll miss the horse for sure.
  8. Thoughts on a soft topper?

The premium fabric is a very substantial improvement, for what it’s worth. Doesn’t fade, and doesn’t loosen nearly as quickly as lighter weight fabrics.
  9. Possible shock mount recall

I would assume you’re fine- I don’t know the status of the issue, or if a recall is imminent (that speculation was from the FB group) I’m just putting it out fyi
  10. Possible shock mount recall

From a Facebook group I frequent, something to watch out for: “2020 JT / JL owners may have 2 left shock mounts instead on one of each. Watch for recall info in the coming days on how to verify, and actions recommended.“ Anyone heard anything about it? Or can we get some part numbers from...
  11. Alu-Cab Gladiator Bed Cap

I believe the orientation of the foil is critical
  12. Dual Swing Rear Bumper with tire carrier

Im really impressed with that latching system. So much more robust than most solutions for the JK
  13. What is next for your Gladiator?

Deciding which bed cap I’m going with... really leaning towards ARE; it’s not much heavier than steel tbh. Just waiting on if the wife gets orders to Korea before we decide when to buy
  14. Are seat covers worth it?

    On a Gobi JT
  15. Are seat covers worth it?

The customization is top notch, I just don’t trust vinyl from any manufacturer. I got my Bartacts in and I’m finishing the install, I’ll make sure to post some pictures. The only thing unclear to me right now is whether or not to tuck the covers underneath the anchor point plastic...
  16. Alu-Cab Gladiator Bed Cap

Get some adhesive backed heat shield. Used in the interior of our jeeps all over, mainly near the foot wells/tranny; it’ll work for radiant heat from the sun.
  17. Are seat covers worth it?

Must be a miscommunication on their part, then. Still not available on their website, and as I said before, I had a conversation with a rep that told me flat out they weren’t making them. Oh well, that’s just lost business on their part
  18. Are seat covers worth it?

Covercraft makes rears in plenty of their different models, but I don’t think they have the carhartt ones available. Could be worth an email. Bestop also makes some good looking covers, but after a conversation with them it did not seem likely they would make rear covers, either. Shame.
