drained my oil this afternoon and then needed to roll the Jeep back a few feet. Could not get neutral without the engine running, which I didn’t want to do since it had no oil in it. Is there any way to be able to roll the jeep around without the engine running?
First oil change.
2450 miles total on the jeep but I’ve had it since August 2020 so I figured it was time. Super easy. Went back with Valvoline Synthetic that met the MS6395 spec and a MoPAR filter I got from the stealership.
exactly. I had OD black rhinos before snd never liked the color next to the gator. It was always a color mismatch. The Fuels change color in the light and compliment the gator. Many of the bronze wheels look too gold color for my tastes. These are dark tinted and look good imho against the...
Nice upgrades. Any reason you didn’t swap the knuckles while you had the front end tore apart? I’m planning the same work pretty much but will do the FAD delete and Reid knuckles at the same time. We’re the drive shafts necessary or just upgrades? I don’t know how much lift you have.
do your research on these guys. It’s not all favorable including from at least one member here whose spent 6 figures with them and now has lawyers involved.
What was the weight of each wheel and tire previously? Now with the new set up? Unless the weight is significantly different I don’t see how mileage improves with the same diameter time.
Very happy with my 37x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Very smooth ride at 30 psi, quiet, took very little weight to balance. They do run about an inch shorter than advertised at 30 psi but on a light weight gladiator 50 psi to get full height will ride like a buckboard. All tire manufacturers us the...
A member poster here has a huge thread in the engine swap sub forum of his experience doing a 6.4 swap at AMW and then going back for the Demon or Hellephant swap. He spent well north of $100k and now has his lawyers handling all the problems. His experiences are not an isolated incident from...
Between all the blower related problems and the shit storm AMW has become doing hemi swaps, I’m just wondering if anyone does a solid middle of the road LS swap that will provide 500 reliable HP without the drama that seems to plague the other 2 options.
page claims increased protection yet they look significantly narrower than stock fenders at every point. Where are they providing increased protection? I love the improved clearance but what’s always held me back from pulling the trigger on your flares is that they were narrower than stock and...
Despite the marketing, it’s not a trophy truck. There’s only so much suspension and on whoops or heavy washboard, especially as some speed you will bottom it out.
New Fuel Beasts bronze dark tint. never really was satisfied with the color match of my prior BR Abrams. They are .5” narrower than the BR but my 12.50 nitto ridge grapplers still look great and don’t stick out from the fenders as much. Still enough to get a ticket in some places but not in my...
I’ve got nitto 37’s with 5.13 gears and get low 16 mpg according to the computer. I don’t care. Between the pedal commander, deep gears, and my fondness for the skinny pedal, mpg is one of the furthest things from my mind.
Who’s lift do you have? Companies vary greatly in terms of how much lift (and flex) they provide in the real world. I have an acquaintance running 40’s on a 3.5”Clayton off-road plus lift. I’m sure he could rub if he really crossed it up but 35’s on his rig would look like someone skipped leg day.
Pedal commander with 5.13 gears makes for some spirited driving. I have mine set on Sport 2, any higher and I’m chirping the tires from every stop. I love it.
