Yeah she's zip tied up. You've cut bedside before?
The factory rear corners hold so much mud it's ridiculous. These bed sides are going to be rusting out like crazy in another 10 years. I laid right under it and flushed mud out with a hose for probably 30 minutes. Wish it wasn't 50° out today...
Zero class here tonight
I don't think I'm going to get to cutting it until tomorrow now, it's not supposed to rain but it sure does look like it. So I'm cleaning the garage to fit the fat bitch in. Need dry environment for the paint on the cut edges.
Yeah, Artec comp cut rear bumper, HERE
I don't expect you to remember it but when you were here I told you about this bumper I was thinking about and you helped me with a little mini brainstorm session on how to handle the exhaust and it's essentially what I ended up doing. Took the whole T&S...
really procrastinating on cutting this bedside...
Figured out the exhaust situation though, since I didn't want a lot of pipe hanging below the frame out the rear. 3" to 4" resonated tip. Between the angle and the resonator I think it's a smidge less raspy and a little deeper. I mean, very...
A good argument for it. Although I don't feel like I bounce around too much as is.
I ripped a 488 GTB on track a couple weeks ago and I don't recall what I was doing with my left foot :CWL:
I don't think I've ever owned a manual with a dead pedal.
Poor main supports? People stroke those engines and boost them and I've never heard that cited as an issue. Is it? The only seal issue I'm aware of is that stupid two piece rear main
You guys are literally just describing the Hurricane engine. That's what that is. It exists.
I have a supercharger on my 4.0 in my TJ and I get about 8 mpg on premium and it drinks a gallon of water/meth probably every 50 miles although I've never measured. Love the engine for it's durability...
That might be part of what's shaped my opinion on them over the years. I've had 20 or so cars and the gladiator is only the second automatic I've owned. So I never got used to the existence of one either. My foot happily rests flat on the floor. Or to the side. Or whatever. It's my foot, it moves.
First time in a long time (edit: ever) I had all my vehicles in a single photo, and enough for them to all be identifiable.
4 of 5 running and without a check engine light is pretty good, right?
IMO if you're bothering to do inner liners and they say they work with the stock bottle then look for other liners. The bottle is in the way, it needs to move. You're just spending money to still have shit in the way.
I run the Savvy liners and did go the Motobilt route and they still hit it...
Well I agree with all of it up until that part! You're right on all counts I just love rowing gears in a sports car. It's one of the things that made me pull the trigger on the Gladiator when I was also cross shopping Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglios... which has probably never been said in a...
I carry Icon 3/8 and 1/4 socket sets (come with a case) in my Jeep and bought them both during a 40% off sale... $168, total 102 pieces. Same with their 14 piece metric and 14 pc standard Icon crescent wrench sets, $156.
It's not as "catered" to the Jeep as the kit that Jeep is selling but if...
Probably the first big road trip I took with it, a loop of Colorado a couple years ago. Took about a week and a half if I recall
Hit Blue Mountain Trail, Mosquito Pass, Birdseye Gulch, Weston Pass, Engineer Pass, Cinnamon Pass, California Pass, Poughkeepsie Gulch, Imogene Pass, Yankee Boy...
For that matter throw the EcoDiesel in there, since, you know, they put them in Gladiators.
260 hp 442 lb-ft.
Toss a little tune on it. What, 300 hp 500 lb-ft pretty easy? IMO the horsepower number doesn't matter much in something with an 8 speed that you don't take much past highway speed...
The "problem" with the current setup is the tire needs to be centered front/back to hang on the third rack support. With it on the top of the drawers I'd be able to move it forward almost a foot. I intended to then mount a folding table above it on the rack and a floor jack and two 5 gal water...
