Does anyone know the Part Numbers for these specific two front springs?
Nevermind - Got lucky and found a used set of 340/343 front springs. Pretty sure they're the ones from a LE / Rubi with hardtop & steel front bumper.
Their cust service has always been good for me as well (and they've not given me any sass when I'm the one who effed up and had errors lol).
Looking forward to your review of it. Remember to get your fuel levels low before the full fill-up! (I wont fib - I did mine to like 1/4 tank and...
I sorta wish I got long ones for my truck but I’m still happy with the results Since I don’t really off-road and I don’t fully trust my neighbors in the apartment complex I used blue loc-tight on my screws.
Yes You can keep the stock tune on the MyCalibrator. On mine I have the stock 87, tuned 87, tuned 91, and tuned 93. They have a E85 tune also - I just chose to not as I have no intention of doing a full fill of E85. As my tunes are all FFV capable if I ever did need to do some E85 as an...
I don’t have to regear no. The 4.10 and the 8sp auto honestly do fine. I only lost 1-1.5mpg and I’m getting just over 20 still. It’s a consideration though if my driving habits change to more city driving. Unsure if work will change yet.
I love my new 34" tires but I'm looking to slightly change the stance of my Gladiator up front.
I'm looking at the following 3 options, and anyones feedback on them.
1) Teraflex Spacer kit.
2) Rubicon Front Springs (If I can get the right ones - Looking for the stiffer ones that come on a...
Why thank you. Figured I wanted to have some fun as this is my vehicle now until the day it bites the dust. Sadly I’m very behind in my Star Wars watching.
And they’re on
@Discount Tire did me solid by making the arrangements with my local location. All I did was drop it off, walk across the street home and head back to get it awhile later.
now to pay them off and save up for a regear lol. I did lose a bit of pep as they’re definitely heavy...
Finally decided to pull the trigger
I have 4x rubicon rims in the garage awaiting a new set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT in 285/75r17.
I figured I’d I’m looking at 255 in E-rated I may as will look into 285 at the same. Should last me a good long time, perform well in the wet and the...
No regrets only because Livernois has done a good tune for the 3.6 - and there is zero chance of deletes coming out for the diesels. If I could delete the crap off the diesel I'd regret the gasser, but that isn't the case.
Valvoline 0w-20 is what I’ve been using (VIOC is across my work parking lot). They also changed my diff fluid and found I had a lot of metal in the rear diff. Been worth it to me so far.
Might start using a shop on my side of town for amsoil just to stay local however.
A V8 would have be chomping at the bit to play with either a) waiting out my lease and paying a rather substantial over-mileage fee, or figuring out the penalty cost of early terminating my lease to get a different truck. Regardless I'd LOVE a 5.7
Thank you both for the info. And those Toyo’s are what I’m looking at.
@Mac what sort of fuel economy did you lose with them? I’m still torn between 255 and 285 and there is the 10lb per tire difference I’m considering
Quick question on the above tire size: Will they stay within the stock fenders?
I purchased takeoff Rubi rims and I'm looking at Toyo Open Country AT3 tires in 285/75r17 size but I hate the appearance of tires outside of the fenders - and I don't want to throw more road grime on my truck...
I have no regrets about mine. Cost me about $4k - financed over 36 months. Best decision as no fogging up / breaking / losing / Any#ofbadthings of glasses. I used a national institute that a close friend & her SO used (locally to me) at their recommendation. Good experience, I healed up...
