  1. HEY!!! You can't park there!!

Always pay attention while backing up! Thankfully, the dead tree in the background was solid enough so I could winch out of the ditch/culvert.
  2. Under rear seat access locked out

Never knew this. I keep my winch controller, soft shackles, tow strap, tree strap, pulley, etc, under the rear seat. Automatic locking could present a problem, as in the past, when I've really needed that stuff, I was in a position that I couldn't access the back latch or gate at all...
  3. Still waiting for @ARBUSA to get us Old Man Emu suspension for JT

Had OME on my YJ, KJ, and LJ. Loved 'em all! Shame they're not doing JTs....
  4. Wheels and tires

I also like the polished look of the AR Outlaw II. I wound up with 18 x 8" with a +30 offset, giving me almost no poke.
  5. Transfer Case Gremlin

This morning I was out in the pines, easy roads, had the (Selec-trac) transfer case in 4Hi Auto. Came to a puddle I was unsure of, switched to regular 4Hi. Went through the puddle (maybe 14" deep, cedar water), and moments later my dash read 4Hi and 4Lo. Drove like 4Lo. Moved the lever back...
  6. Lift kit for dummy’s

Mine is a '21 Overland with the AEV Suspension (with the drop brackets), Terraflex 1 1/2" spacer in front to level it out, Clayton front track bar, and 285/70 18 Ridge Grapplers (34") on AR Outlaw II (18x8, +30) wheels. I kept the original 3.73 gears for just over a year before having it...
  7. 33" tire option for 18" Overland wheel

    I went with 285/70 18 (essentially a 34 X 11.50) on an 18 X 8" wheel (+30). Fits perfectly!
  8. Mojave skid under armor priority

I went with the ones from Rock Slide Engineering--https://rockslideengineering.com/product/rear-rock-sliders-for-jeep-gladiator-jt/
  9. TJ owner thinking about moving on to a JT - input wanted.

I went from a built up LJ to the JT. For serious off-roading, the LJ was hard to beat. Narrow and still short enough to get into and out of smaller spaces and it's slightly longer wheelbase added stability. It would get into and out of spaces where the JKs, JLs, and JTs would never fit...
  10. Artec Aluminum Bellypan GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it needed just a tad more room there!
  11. Artec Aluminum Bellypan GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Is the "Alpha Series" something new? I've had your aluminum skids on my JT for some 22 months now.
  12. Steps but want to off road eventually

Had that for the wife when I had my LJ and before I put the RSEs on my JT. I still use it around the Jeep!
  13. Who Wants to Compare Personal Property Taxes? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Here in NJ we don't have the personal property tax (we have more than enough other taxes, thank you!), but there's the sales tax of 6.625%. Title and registration fees for 4 years (with the extra fee for Pinelands plates) was $377.
  14. Wheelchair Bound Passengers

That looks sweet! Could definitely use that on the passenger seat! Any details on it?
  15. Age Group?

Couple of weeks shy of 74, my first Jeep was a new '93 YJ, followed by an '03 KJ, then an '06 LJ, now the '21 JT.
  16. JT overland edition on stock 3.73 gears will 35s work?

With 34" tires, auto trans, and 3.73 gears, the engine was turning under 2000rpm at 75mph in 8th. 4.56s will be this year's big upgrade!
  17. Rodents... PSA

Critters love 'em! I've got more bird shit on my axles and suspension than I've ever had on the outside! When I had my LJ we found a nest on top of my gas tank, and I had to replace the evap lines there due to something eating them.
  18. Rear facing car seat?

I'm from a much simpler time---we just used a laundry basket on the rear floor!
  19. The Jeep Gladiator IS a CAR!!

My YJ, KJ, and LJ were all classed by DMV as "WAGON", as were our 2 Outbacks. Our Forester is simply classed "Passenger".
