I had an LJ before, and apparently, I could not use those license plates or my EZ-Pass on my Gladiator, as the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and EZ-Pass claim it's a truck.
I had just a little chip at the bottom edge right in front of the driver. Every time I turned on the defroster, it would slightly change direction and travel a bit further. It took 4 1/2 months, but it finally made it to the right edge, midway up the glass!
I've been running 34s (285/70 18) with the stock 3.73s for a while now. I don't see a lot of 8th gear other than 70+ on level or downhill. Eventually, I'll probably do 4.10 or 4.56.
I figured I'd let them give me the free three. These fancy oils are supposed to be good for more than the 10K, and I only did my first at 8K because I was going to Florida and wanted it done before hand.
And at almost 74, I'm not a fan of crawling under there, but I still do on occasion!
I had a flat bug deflector on my YJ, and the newer style on my KJ, LJ, and now on the JT. Can't say if it does any good or not! I've still had cracked windshields (but not on the KJ!) and driving through Florida during love bug season is still loud and messy!
Funny, but looking at the crack in my windshield, I see that every time I use the defroster, the crack makes a slight turn in direction. The length of each segment is wholly dependent on how long the defroster was operating!
Searching the web (because I'm too damn lazy to check the owner's manual), I found that according to KBB, Jeep recommends the following at 32000 miles:
Rotate tires
Inspect all door latches for presence of grease, reapply if necessary
Inspect battery and clean and tighten terminals as required...
No. A +6 on a 9" wheel will give you 1/2" more poke (and 1/2" more backspace) than a +6 om an 8" wide wheel. As the centerline (and location of the hub) remains the same, the extra 1" in wheel width is divided equally on each side.
I received my confirmation that they received my submission within 48 hours. What I received today was the approval notice. I initially submitted on the 13th, right after the actual recall notice and form was published.
Creature comforts I've added are Hotheads Headliner, Rock Slide Eng. step sliders, and seat lift spacers (passenger seat-so wife can see out the windshield). I also use two 2 x 4s in the bed slots--handy for groceries (also fits a pizza box).
Hothead's Sound Assasin strips, and probably most of your soundproofings, can be cut with either heavier scissors or a very sharp knife so you can put it how and where you'd like.
