I take a different perspective after losing both parents and hope this helps you. I remember my dad telling me near the end “life is short and goes by fast, so make time to enjoy it”. That is how I try to live my life and make time for what gives me enjoyment. After family, the Jeep gives me...
I just used normal rubbing alcohol to prep the area. Also added a little extra 3M VHB grey tape to the back of the sills before installing to make for an even stronger bond. They are holding up well.
I’ve heard of this many times to plug a gun shot wound or deep gash with a tampon or pad so you don’t bleed out. Hope I never have to try it, but a good idea to have on board or in a medical kit. Might save someone’s life in an emergency.
Just a tight tension velcro pull with 2 straps going through the inside of the handle. After 3 days they are holding well (lol). They may start to drop, but only time will tell. I hope they continue to stay in the up position unless I need them. It’s nice and clean having them out of sight when...
I plan to go to 35’s on my rubicon (4:10) when these 33 Falken M/T wear out. Pretty sure I’ll need a Tazer mini or Flashcal to update/flash the automatic shifts at that point. I’ll consider the lift if the 35’s don’t look right, but from what I’ve seen a lift might not be necessary with 35’s. If...

I ended up getting this Dewalt right angle tool attachment for $24 at Lowe’s. Not 100% satisfied as it twists a little when at final torque, but for $24 it will do for this simple job. Does not to touch the door paint when in use and enough surface area to grip it and control. Guess I’ll keep...
I had a Jeep Renegade cooling fan replaced before the recall at my expense though the dealership. After the recall, I was reimbursed the full amount. Just keep your records and receipts.
I went with JPeggz and like them. No wind, vibration or deflection. Foot pedal is nice too. Easy to put on and take off.

I can’t go anywhere without the conversation starting “how you do like the Jeep truck?” or “that rubicon looks awesome!”. HD, Lowe’s, Walmart, gas pump, restaurants, red lights or wherever heads turn, pictures are taken or someone just wants to ask about it or wish they had one.
I’ve only...
Night and Day difference, looks absolutely great.
Which side steps are those? They look good too, but not sure if I can give up my Rubi rock rails. Still debating and deciding.
I have a Rubicon and coat hooks provided is news to me. I bought these below off Amazon and they work fine. I slide them down the back of the roll bar when not needed, which is 98% of the time. Still nice when I do need it.

Yes, the JK Flashcal uses their on device screen to make the changes. Very user friendly, took maybe 10 minutes to make changes and disconnect when done. I had no issues while connected and still have not. The price for the JK version was $180 when I bought it, but looks like they are $250 now...
When I bought my JT it felt like I was paying $1000 for something I’d never use. Once I figured the ACC out, haven’t turn on the normal CC since. Like the other poster said, once using it you will never go back. After my highway windshield rock chip, I have the ACC range maxed out to the most...
Anyone have a compare on the Tazer JL mini vs Flashcal for the JL or JT? I put a Flashcal on my JK after upping tire size and it adjusted the shifts as expected with no issues. Just curious is Tazer is better?
I have these same Stock Rubicon with 33" Falken MTs and getting 20.2 MPG after on 11,500 miles. 85% of my driving is on the highway though.
