Thats really interesting, How much do ethanol blends affect this? Would buying ethanol free help as well? I realize that in some areas the only kind of ethanol free is already sitting at 90 or 91 octane.
Lets stir this pot up again. Check this video out. He used AFE Cold air and matched it with two different AFE exhausts and used the onboard 0-60 timer for all the combinations. He was able to shave a full second off of the 0-60 running a Rubi on 37s and 4.10 gears. Unfortunately he didn't dyno...
I've got the same love/hate with my camper shell too. I run it in the winter but take it off in the spring. I might sell it this summer. Not decided yet. It's great for keeping most things dry but since I installed the decked drawer system, it's not needed as much. And since the deck is so...
Does anyone else have a mod or accessory that they absolutely hate but can't get rid of?
For me, its the Wolfbox TriPro 9000. I bought it because I needed a dash cam and having a rear camera for when I have a camper shell on, it made sense. What I don't like is how the system works. the thing...
I'm assuming you're using the KC light brackets, the bracket and the liner add about 1/4 inch of thickness to the A-Pillar. If you're worried about the snorkel head interfering with the lights themselves. The bracket comes inboard 2 inches or so before they bolt up.

a thorough inspection of the axles should tell you everything you need to know. If they guy won't let you pop the dif covers, walk away. Is the Eaton E-locker better than the stock rubi locker? I'd buy the axles and sell mine. You're way ahead financially.
I recently discovered the Drift brand. Wooden pucks. They smell pretty good and aren't overwhelming at first opening. They last a while and can be refreshed.
I REALLLLLLLY want to see a set of white solids on a Sting Grey. I've been looking for years. Not even chat GPT will give me an accurate rendering of white solids on a grey JT
I love the Fittapaldi wheels. They've got some really classy stuff. But, MAN are they expensive.
I'm running AEV Pintlers that are backspaced for the JKs.
I know right?? I got flashed a ton even though I had the halogens and before I lifted it. It actually seemed to stop once I installed the Oracle LEDs. They've got a pretty crisp cutoff and I don't get flashed anymore.
True, I know the lack of rear step from this new bumper will be a little annoying for me. So far thats the only compromise I'm going to have to live with
OH MAN, I'm not sure why I'd not seen this thread already. This is the same kind of tinkering I love doing. I'm not computer inclined, that's my son's area, I'm more mechanically inclined. But this is an awesome read. I've gone more the consumer route and just mounted a Tablet using OnX. It...
