  3. Anyone have problems with the American Adventure Labs?

I've only bought the fender chop lights and the packout first aid sign kit from them and it's been a very mixed bag. The sign kit came with screws too long and the panels weren't even tapped for the screws. The metal tabs used to hold the sign to the packout are rusting and leaving rust marks...
  4. Looking for mounting Amber Chase Dust Light Ideas

What tail lights are you running? I've got the Oracle flush mounts and have been thinking about getting their euro compatible back up lights to swap into mine. They come with white and amber LEDs in them. Tapping the ambers to flash would be pretty easy.
  5. Anyone have problems with the American Adventure Labs?

Found my problem. I disconnected the lights and then took the connector apart. Sure enough there was corrosion and arcing marks in the ground wires in the connectors. Pulled the terminals apart, gave em a good cleaning and a fresh round of dielectric. Boom, all better. Hopefully I put enough in...
  6. Anyone have problems with the American Adventure Labs?

I installed the AAL slimline fender chop, and now about 4 months later, the passenger side DRL (white lights) have pretty much stopped working. The Amber turn signal works fine but the white lights show up when they want to. Which is pretty much never. Anyone else have problems with theirs?
  7. any sport gladiators running 37s? How bad is it on stock gears?

So I'm going to ask the question then. At what speeds should one expect to see 8th gear? I find that my transmission loves to sit in 4th gear. Some days it stays in 4th all the way up to 60 mph. I do see 6th but not a lot. I've done a bunch of trips from PA to TX and back. Speeds in the 70s...

  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I was just congratulating myself for not taking any rocks to the glass in a long time too. Stupid.. My first windshield lasted 4 months before a rock took it. This one lasted about 3 years
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Left my truck running at the Lowes, came back out and I had a brand new U shaped crack in the windshield when I came back out. NO rock chips prior either. Super annoyed with myself. I know better than to leave it with the defrost blasting

  17. Dave!, Looking for Dave

Picking up a Magnusson charger and I've been reading the forum and Dave seems to have universal love for his work. But alas, it looks like he's not around anymore. Who's got a contact they trust to help me out?
  18. Is there a guide or general practice with regard to supplemental lighting on a Wrangler / Gladiator?

These guys have pretty good explanations on what the different lights do. I'm going to piggyback and say that what you "need" and what you "want" will be different. My rule of thumb is go out wheeling and driving and anytime you say to yourself, "I wish my lights......" and then research ways to...
