You should be able to order the diesel spacers from MetalCloak for their diesel kit. To my knowledge MetalCloak uses the same springs in the gas and diesel models.

I have the Diamondback cover on two of my trucks. I’m happy with their cover, I did like the renegade design more but the price was more.

Yes the 2.5" lift would be more like a 3.5" lift.

One thing to think about with the MetalCloak lift for the diesel truck. Is they are using spacers for the added weight instead of springs designed for the diesel, just food for thought. If it were me going for the MetalCloak lift I would use the Clayton springs.

Had them on my grey Jeep and now I have it on my yellow one. The only issue I had was on the second set I got I had one bolt that wouldn’t come out when installing the rash rings. Had to drill tap and install a helicoil.
