First real cleaning this year. Think I got all the bugs with the help of some heavy duty bug spray. Forgot how nice having clean windows is. Skipped wheels. Forgot I was out of cleaner so more on the way.
A skinny bumper for aFatBird ?
was between quarter pounder and the tomahawk. Went with the motobilt due to lucking out and scoring one brand new and at a great price from a guy down the way. Chickened out when it came to chopping the frame ?
Teraflex makes a piece of armor that bolts right on the arm geo brackets. I got it and seems to be pretty robust I have no issue dragging those over rocks and such.

I will actually be taking those...
Ah gotcha yeah I was trying to put a bunch of things together and hastily made a mess of it. I mean to say bumpster is one ride quality factor, separate from the other “or” listed which can also cause ride quality issues. A bracket to fix geometry will offset the bar bringing it parallel or...
Well said. Can vouch for clevite style not lasting so long when doing a lot of off road. They just don’t like twisting up and fail pretty quickly. Ride real nice on road when new though.
JJs have come a long way the ones RockJock sells now are many iterations from those in the late 2000s and...
? bathrooms are like my number one determining factor on the quality of an establishment. I often pay the extra premium to stop at Chevrons due to this fact.
The stock arms are pretty good if you want comfort. Look for arms with a clevite type busing which is what they have.
if you are saying the ride quality after springs is not great you may have other issues arms will not resolve.
Ah cool I can connect the dots between the five looking at them now. That is a pretty good set of criteria. Those look like excellent matches. To play devils advocate have you thought of maybe just adding like the mopar steel with winch plate? Should be pretty light, converts to stubby when/if...
This. I only upgraded the front dash with fairly cheap inifinity reference speakers and boy that added a lot of missing detail. I have the Alpine tho so maybe the amp it comes with Works well with those.
ICECO seem to be doing well. Many singing their praises. Have had my rotomolded fridge/cooler for a bit over a year. It runs almost non-stop not a single issue. Not having to deal with ice has been a game changer. Another cool addition to your already rad build. Thank you for sharing!
Can you give some more criteria on selection? Are you asking for more suggestions? Sounds like $1k or less, hoop but lower, also from the ones you posted a lower mounted winch. Any thoughts on weight, factory compatibility, and tow points/jack points?
Clears up what you are thinking. Even the non-jeepers you speak of buy jeeps for the image of “off roadin” or “adventuring. Like folks that buy those crazy expensive dive watches that barely know how to swim ?
