Installed a molle panel on my rack. Loosened rack bolts and slightly shifted it then tightened it all back up. Started mocking up custom bracket to mount between rack bars and contain the propane tank and a hook for the hose.
Killer fab work! Guessing that turned out rock solid ie nothing is moving about. Do power tanks work slanted like that or do you take it off the bracket before use?
Rare occasion I have to disagree ? as an off-roader since a young age I can say for myself and many others thank goodness for a rich supply of used, often well maintained 4x4s. Thats how most of us got started. So thank you I guess and keep buying them ?
My guess is it would have to be custom. Those beds are not cheap most folks would just buy a noce trailer right? Meaning not much of a market me thinks.
The rubicon x looks like it will be a beast. If you think you would buy it and just wheel it like it is probably a good choice. That said you can just throw a soft top and some new gears on your jt. Your gladiator is already as capable as the rubi x will be.
Wondering what other folks are using. Realized I need something since I run 37” tires 4.5” lift. Saw this one figure it ahould work but wanted to ask around before pulling the trigger

Finally finished install on this rack. Little scuffing on the tail gate lifting it up there solo. The levers to lock in the carrier position rub ever so slightly. Gonna clearance em a bit and do some touch up paint to rack and carrier next.
Next venture motorsports makes a very nice rear aluminium bumper. Like above very pricey but it is 1/4” thick plates. Works with all the factory gear too.
Exactly this. For the $1200 I got the JL 2.0 kit for was just about the right price. 18 months later over $2k not a chance for that money I am gonna save a bit more and get something far better.
What are you looking to spend? On the low end go with Rustys advice get some springs and shocks. On the high/expensive end maybe look at the streetable kits that come with geometry brackets and such as those make a big difference in ride quality.
My experience. Rock crawling and or heavier towing 5.13. Trails and light towing 4.88. With 4.88 should be good and little better going highway speeds. Having the 5.13 could be nice if you decide to go a bit bigger like 38”.
Are you 100% sure that that didn't come from some outside location like maybe on the pan you were draining into. The stock mopar filters would not cause something like that. I also don't think it got in through the air filter tolerances being what they are. Your filter should be guarding the...
Should mention if the tire(s) have defect no amount of balancing will tix the issue. At best it may move around the problem ie different mph where it is felt.
Can you swap your old ones on for a minute and see how they feel?
No vibration is not normal. I never had an issue like your describing until recently. Was the wheels and/or tires I had just installed. Put a different wheel and tire on and poof no more vibration.
now question is has it always been vibrating? Possible something is loose or other source of...
