Kind of hard to tell, but looks kind of bleh or boring compared to the normal hood?
(Forgive the grille and the ducks. Her Jeep, her choices. I just do what she asks.)
The built in wireless android for the newer Jeeps works well, EXCEPT for the fact that it hijacks the phone's wifi connection. That's probably not an issue for most people, most of the time. But out here in the boonies, we do not have cellular coverage, but we do have wifi that covers a large...
I have about 7 acres, in a very rural area. Rural enough that where I plan to eventually build my home range, if a round were to somehow escape my backstop it would have to travel almost 4.5 miles and over 3 mountains to reach the next house. Not that it should ever happen.
I really need to get a suppressor. Problem is since most of my firearms were purchased/built while living in states FAR less gun friendly than NH, nothing I own has a threaded barrel. And when it comes to my favorite plinking pistols, it's probably cheaper and easier to just buy a new gun than...
I've never taken the doors or hardtop off my JT, but that's because I use my truck like a truck. Also, I don't have a garage, so I can't just park inside when it rains. Plus I have 3 other vehicles that I can run without doors or a roof, and several motorcycles. That said, if I wanted to drive...
First: you can set the forward collision warning to audible warning only; no active braking. Or disable it completely. (This way you still get the auto highbeams)
Second: you can adjust the sensitivity to lessen the chance of any "false" alarms or braking.
Third: Even though I can be a fairly...
Actually, thanks for bumping this thread. I noticed the freezing up along the outside edges the other day, and kinda wondered why my new JT does this when my '21 didn't. This thread reminded me I put those plugs when it was brand new.
So I guess before I go out and clean last night's snow off...
Any other Gladiator Gun Guys and Gals planning on attending this:

I am very aware that while NH currently is one of the most firearm-friendly states in the USA, we're only 1 or 2 bad elections away...
Wife has it on her M/T Wrangler, and it works far better than you might expect, even here in the mountains. Obviously you still need to do your part with the gear selection...
Hopefully that stuff will be able to be disabled with a tazer or programmer.
Without getting political, humans tend to innovate faster than government can regulate.
Nice. One of my buddies goes there, because he's friends with one of the salesmen. I checked with them on the last 2 Jeeps, but they didn't do any better than my usual guy in Littleton, so never got as far as trade-in values.
I dont know if this is possible in Jscan, since I don't have that. But with AlfaOBD the very first thing I do is make a backup file with all the settings as it came from the dealer. That way if I need to I can always revert back.
Unless you plan to keep your JT until it goes to the crusher, I would agree with Bill's answer. Heck, even if you DO intend to keep it forever, I still agree.
I do the same thing, only with AlfaOBD instead of Jscan.
Even if you never intend to go back to a dealer, there may be some recall or...
How long has it been since you initially ordered? Seems this one took a LOT longer than usual orders. It's only been a month since we ordered the wife's, and it's not even in production yet, but I'll have to do a similar scramble to return hers to stock once it ships.
