The back up cam on my 2025 JT Rubicon, is noticeably worse than the one on my 2021 JT Sport S.
However, my wife's 2025 JLU Sport S is just as clear as my 2021 JT. Which leads me to wonder if it has more to do with the Rubicon and/or the front trailcam option than the year?
I grabbed this harness from Amazon. My intent is to use it as a non-invasive way to trigger a relay for my Vision X reverse lights when I finally move them over to the new Gladiator. When I first installed them back in '21 I was still working and spending a lot of time in urban areas and I felt...
It used to be if you wanted the oem Mopar accessories, they were usually cheaper to buy them yourself instead of special ordering them with the Jeep. I noticed that was no longer true on many things when I ordered the wife's last Wrangler. Fortunately she doesn't care about the door sills, and...
We're pretty much in the same situation with the trade-in, only my wife is almost afraid to drive it now for fear something might happen, especially since it's the middle of winter in snowy NH.
She's also about 750 miles from an oil change. Yea, I'm pretty sure they won't ding us on the...
I think it's just a sign of the current economy mixed with modern Just In Time inventory/manufacturing processes.
I noticed when ordering my wife's new Wrangler last month, that LED headlights were a $0 upgrade on the Sport S, much like we saw with the hoods here. I'm guessing there was a...
Those of you with real winters, how are you carrying water? It can go well below zero F here at night, and while most bottled water will survive a few freeze/thaw cycles, eventually they burst.
How did you mount the radio? I have yet to figure out a way to mount my Yaesu FT-7900 in my JT as cleanly as I did in my Ram. The detachable faceplate fit perfectly in the dash cubby below the factory stereo.
Also, 4yrs after my original post.... I have not moved to emergency radios over to the...
Many times over the years. Last one was a couple of young guys from out of state driving around the back roads here taking pics of the winter scenery. When they pulled their car off the side of the road, they didn't realize it was a ditch filled with snow and buried the passenger side. No cell...
You will be fine. The Gladiator is an all-around great and versatile midsize truck. It does many things well, but if we are being honest, it's probably not "the best" at most of them. Which IMNHO is fine for an everyday vehicle.
There are better tow vehicles.
There are better off-road...
I use this on our newer JL/JTs:
https://www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/collections/2024-jeep-wrangler-jl/products/passenger-grab-bar-mount-compatible-with-2024-jeep-wrangler-jl-4xe-gladiator-b-size-1-inch-ball
I went with the 1" ball because that's compatible with RAM mounts, and I have...
I'm in NH (not too far from Mount Washington, home of the worst weather in the world), so we get plenty of snow. My wife has had a sunrider on her wranglers for the past 10yrs, and I have never removed them in the winter. I treat it the same way as the tonneau cover on my Gladiator. Generally we...
About the only USEFUL thing I've found AI is decent at is the app connected to my CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) has a feature that let's me take a photo of what I am about to eat and it is surprisingly accurate at figuring out what is on my plate, and how it will impact my glucose levels...
You clearly have the Redline Tuning struts. Redline makes one kit for aluminum hood Jeeps, and a DIFFERENT kit for the heavier steel hoods. The ones being discussed here are made by "Tecbaba", who is selling the same kit for both aluminum and steel hoods.
