AutoZone has the 48-720 for $324.99 with the core trade. Plus there's a 20% first time online order discount. We'll see if that works. That's less than either Optima I was looking at.
Thanks..... I just spent an hour watching reviews on the Optima. You probably saved me from a bad experience. I got confused with the Redtop! hahaha
I found I can get the Odyssey locally for a good price and it looks to be the best battery.
Thanks... This is exactly what I'm wondering. Have the standard battery companies caught up or does Optima still have an advantage. In the end 3-years is 3-years.
It's time to replace my batteries on my 2020 Mojave and I'm looking for opinions.
After doing my due diligence it looks like Optima is the standard for quality, but I'm not sure which one is best. I see a lot of people installing the Redtop but the yellow looks like a better option with all the...
Who me? I've hauled 16 footers up and over the windshield no problem. As far as the glass back window..... I cut a wood block that rides just over the window height so the wood never touches the glass.
I have a diamondback so legit rack is challenging.
The analist in me has to point out that in 2022 we saw record high gas prices, inflationary COGS and interest rate increases. To see people choosing PHEV is obvious and the crazy Dodge numbers I feel are a "Last Hurrah" effect.... People see the change over to EV is very close so they want to...
Android Auto all the way.... I never used the service, never registered and did not renew and boy they didn't like that. They called daily, sent mail promotions monthly for a year and kept reminding me every time I logged into my jeep account. It's like buying a printer and never buying ink...
Oh to have that luxurious shop space.
What kind of parts investment was that? I've become immune to the ride on the freeways until I get into my Mini Cooper JCW she sticks to the road like a magnet. But when I get out on a windy highway my Mojave is a bear to keep in the lane.
This just reminded me of when my dad died. He had a collection of photo albums of us kids and one was titled "Dead Animals" haha. It was pictures of mostly my brothers with assorted things they killed.. Fish, Deer, Sheep, Snakes, Bobcat...
This is my preferred explanation.... Really don't want to imagine sparks in my dash. But like I said there was no smoke or smell and I have a pretty good nose for electrical fires. It was the first time so maybe something just didn't shut down properly.
2020 Gladiator Mojave
Strange thing happened this morning. As I was leaving I noticed my backup cam was displaying a blue screen so I pulled over and turned off the car thinking it was a weird glitch. When I restarted and turned on the backup cam it said service not available.... I turned off...
Ya know I don't. I tried to look it up on the website and I didn't see it anywhere. I went through Mike Pelella through email and over the phone.
They have a pretty great team... Very responsive.

Pretty easy actually.... If you don't follow the directions. haha
They send you all the parts except the traveler bars and expect you to replace all with new parts. I chose to keep the cam and linkage together and just drop in the new lock mechanism. Replacing the cams would just add more time...
