So I'm under my 2020 Mojave today and notice this black spot on my muffler. Upon closer inspection I see it's a tiny hole, The question is do you think it's road damage or a thin spot that happened when it was originally welded up? I can see some other similar spatter that leads me to think its...
@friskeljr Im sure you can get the shims and seals but I would contact them directly.
I contacted them about what I thought were flimsy lock cylinders and they came back a few months later with these Medico hardened cylinder upgrade. I installed them today.
Now that customer service!
The only issues I have with the Tazer is accessibility.... You got to be a contortionist to get to the port and because I'm still on the Jeep Wave program, I have to pull it before taking it in for service. It's not difficult technically to unmarry the device, it's just the accessibility thing...
Ha Ha I'm still driving around with a din in my windshield.... Did you pony up for the Gorilla Glass?
I'm also curious about the Flashpaq.... I feel like the mojave is already dragging its heels in the sand. Is it worse if you are in 17.5 mpg mode? I live in the hills, then it's down to the...
You do You! That's what Jeeps are all about.
For me it was about catching up on some things missing on the model available at the time.
I added:
- Tazer mini to turn off start/stop, add a front facing cam and activate the hood alarm
- Front and Back Dash Cam
- Two Buckeye fire extinguishers...
I went back and fourth over the HD vs SE thing for 2 months, finally my other half kicked in the difference just to shut me up. haha. In hindsight I could have gotten by with the SE, but I do like all the tie-downs and use them regularly. It was so hard choosing without being able to see one in...
Here ya go @Pookie. It was pretty easy and feels fairly solid, although I will probably add some locktite once I give it a good test. The aluminum drills super easy and I picked up some nice black sheetmetal screws, but ultimately went with the self tapping because the thread count was higher...
I'm right there with ya. I want to mount a couple things and was wondering if the track is needed at all. I ordered the Quick Fist mounts and when my "things" arrive next week I'm going to see if I cant just attach the mounts directly to the support beam. I have no intent to move things around...
Love my HD!.... It's stealthy in the big city. I can pack it with stuff and when closed up it's like nothings there. I think it helps that I intentionally kept my Mojave low profile, somehow it blends in with most people but gets attention from those in the know. My only issue has been...
Today I took delivery of my Diamondback HD and did the install. I have to agree that removing the bed rail caps is a true pain, but I was able to do it far enough to get the shims in place and get it all closed up. I saw no need to remove the entire rail cap.
Not to say that the top is in any...
2020 Stock Mojave and I get 13-14 around town and 19- 20 on the freeway. I do live in the San Francisco Bay Hills so every trip is up or down about 1,200 ft and then 70-80 on the freeway (mostly flat) just to compete...haha
