1) Rock sliders/steps to help my short wife + boys in and out of the truck, while also providing extra protection against the long breakover angle.
2) LED light bar to make up for the low-rez stock halogen lamps.
3) Rear hitch receiver because I didn't pay for tow package.
4) Slush mats because I didn't need them in NC, but will def need them for Midwestern winters.
5) Stubby antenna because I hate when the stock one gets caught up in the car wash rollers.

and

6) ARE CX HD bed cap to provide more protected space while camping but still hold a RTT.

Done with it
I only want to do things once so the suspension part will go slow.
1. ARE fiberglass painted to match shell camper. (ordered)
2. Weathertech floor mats.
3. Bedrug.
This is where the order of things get in question.
4. 35s
5. Some type of small lift 2 inches or less. Don't really want to do CA's and track bars.
Now I just spend it for fun,,,
ARB diff covers, front bumper and winch, better rock rails with a step, a good stiff steering stab.
I have already removed the 60% side of the back seat for the dog. I'll be installing many coats of wax.

So @Silvertruck, did you already get tires? I reread the thread and you mentioned 315 Toyos? Also did you already get the Weathertech mats? The Mopar ones are WAY better. You remove the carpets and they clip into the floor drains so that you can still hose the interior really easily. I also have the Mopar roll-up tonneau cover. It is way smaller when not used, but still water tight when rolled out. I drove 3 hours in the rain with all my family stuff in the back and everything was bone dry when we got to our spot.

My number one thing... Synergy front track bar. I ran it on my lifted JL and I bought it the first week I had my Mojave. The stock one is the same for every Jeep. Its a bit too short, binds when the suspension is flexed and can send a lot of 'jolt' or noise into the frame. They use a rather large 2 stage rubber bushing. No greasing or maintenance. As soon as I put the Synergy on the front just felt smoother over bumps. Tons less shock being transferred directly from the axle to the frame. I bought the rear one too, but its not as big a deal in a truck as it was on a Wrangler.

Yes I’ve gotten started. Here’s where I’m at:
- 5 new toyo open country mt’s @ 315/70/17. Loving the tires so far, still dialing in the air pressure. Got 17.3 mpg highway with them yesterday on a 150 mile trip, so not too bad. Running 15 mpg in town
- I went with the mopar/jeep all weather mats. I had these in my rubicon and agree they are great
- I threw on a pair of N-Fab wheel to wheel nerf bars with the satin wrinkle finish and 3 inch main tube.
- Not really a mod, but I’ve got a new window mount cell phone holder, works well but prob not trail rated, lol.

Up next:
- New CB-style short antenna and quick release. This is cosmetic but hate the stock one. Did this to my JTR too.
- front bumper/winch. At this point the rugged ridge arcus bumper and warn evo 10s synthetic are at the top of the list.
- depending on sag from bumper, I may go with a small spacer like teraflex up front to get the height back.
- I am looking at UV blocking mesh tops to go under my freedom panels
- i am also looking at headliners for the panels, but not sold on cost benefit

After that:
- I am looking at bed options. Not sure if I want to go with a hard bed cover like bakflip mx4 or do something like a sport bar back there.
- broader suspension mods may come into focus after that but I need some trail time first. Thats when I will learn more about things like the track bars, need for sway disconnects, etc. a large lift is not on the map but tweaks to improve what mopar did may be.
- I may get some auxillary lights at some point for the jeep, upfitter switches seem to make it easy.

You do You! That's what Jeeps are all about.

For me it was about catching up on some things missing on the model available at the time.

I added:

- Tazer mini to turn off start/stop, add a front facing cam and activate the hood alarm
- Front and Back Dash Cam
- Two Buckeye fire extinguishers 1 Haltron and one ABC + My Trama bag under the seat
- Weathertech mats Front, Back and Bed Mat
- Diamondback HD cover (I live and work in an urban environment and security was high priority)
- Next up is the Front Runner rack for the Diamondback

Tires are stock and probably an advantage in this high gas market. I actually like the Falkins, their pretty good on the road and have not disappointed in the dirt and snow.

It really all depends on your use scenario..... Are you a racer, a crawler, overlander, or just a guy with a truck that happens to double as a jeep.

Ha Ha I'm still driving around with a din in my windshield.... Did you pony up for the Gorilla Glass?

I'm also curious about the Flashpaq.... I feel like the mojave is already dragging its heels in the sand. Is it worse if you are in 17.5 mpg mode? I live in the hills, then it's down to the freeway and out to city streets bumper to bumper and back again and I'm averaging 14.5 on the stock 33s. But again I'm heavy on the foot freeways around here are 80 mph average.

unless you've wheeled before you bought your gladiator, don't get stuck in the trap of thinking you NEED a lightbar and winch.

Here's a little guide about when to buy your first winch:
Buy a come-a-long. Practice with it with a tree in your yard. Get comfortable with it. Then store it in your off-roading "go bag". The very first time you use it, decide if you really need more or not. That's when you get to (maybe) buy a winch. For a LOT of people, their very first time using their come-a-long might be years after they buy a jeep. Extrapolate. If you had a winch, and used it once every 3 years, then you're paying how much per recovery pull? A winch is like a boat. The best kind is someone else's.

Here's a little guide about when to buy a lightbar:
Buy a really good flashlight. I didn't say expensive. I said good. check out reddit.com/r/flashlight. I grabbed mine for $35. super long throw, crazy bright too. Store it in your off-roading "go bag". The very first time you use it, decide if you really need more or not. That's when you get to (maybe) buy a lightbar. For a LOT of people, their very first time using a lightbar off-road is never.

If you're like 98+% of jeepers, even those with legitimate off-road dreams, i've just saved you about 5k.

Either that, or i've sent you on one slightly nervous off-road trip, of which you'll have many others to remember so it wont matter.
Awesome response Jim, and very true. The last JKU I had I got a winch right away. Used it twice in the 4 years I had the JKU and both times were to pull other people out of trouble. USed the light bar once ay Pismo when I was in CA. Ieventually removed it for the unnerving whistling it did at spoeeds over 50mph.
