You do You! That's what Jeeps are all about.

For me it was about catching up on some things missing on the model available at the time.

I added:

- Tazer mini to turn off start/stop, add a front facing cam and activate the hood alarm
- Front and Back Dash Cam
- Two Buckeye fire extinguishers 1 Haltron and one ABC + My Trama bag under the seat
- Weathertech mats Front, Back and Bed Mat
- Diamondback HD cover (I live and work in an urban environment and security was high priority)
- Next up is the Front Runner rack for the Diamondback

Tires are stock and probably an advantage in this high gas market. I actually like the Falkins, their pretty good on the road and have not disappointed in the dirt and snow.

It really all depends on your use scenario..... Are you a racer, a crawler, overlander, or just a guy with a truck that happens to double as a jeep.

I just ordered the tazer mini, for the hood latch alarm, did you have to buy any other equipment other than tazer to activate the alarm?

I like the add for a bed cover as an option and floor mats, also a must have.

Definitely interesting on some of the opinions about what one shouldnt do, but really there’s no right or wrong.

I guess I should have clarified, I’ve had other jeeps. Interested in things that make the jeep perform better and/or live better. Lots of great thoughts.

Judging by this comment I’d say keep it as stock as possible. Just add convenience mods like tonneau cover, mats, maybe some cowl lights simply because they’re so easy to add. I’d go to 35s as well even if you don’t lift. The truck just looks better.

As stated, no level needed unless you add a lot of weight up front (mine below on 35's stock bumper).
My first 5 were:
1. LED headlights (eleminated the need for any forward projecting Aux lighting)
2. Gator hard cover (I hunt and leave the Jeep in some pretty remote places so wanted somewhat secure storage)
3. Actual reverse lighting (I went with the ORacle, but any aux light will work)
4. Rokblokz (necessary in my opinion!)
5. InsaneAudio head unit (because, YouConnect)

Gorilla Glass will still get the pits. The gorilla layer is the innermost layer towards the cabin.

@Mo'Glad2022 - How do you like the RC Throttle Body Spacer? Is it worth it? Did the sound/whistling I read about get annoying yet?
I just installed the RC CAI and wanted to see what difference that made first but now I'm itching to try the TBS.

I don’t hear a whistle, just the normal engine sound maybe a tiny bit amplified, I put it on with 50m on the odometer so I don’t know the stock engine sound to compare it, but a CAI makes more sound for sure and would sound similar just not as loud. Don’t notice a difference other than that, in the future I would probably leave it out of a build but it was $50 so it’s fine.

I'm building a mechanically solid, yet understated, Rocklander with the Mojave as my base. I went with...

1. Rust-proofing and undercoating (I live in the rust belt)
2. MetalCloak 3.5" GameChanger Lift for Mojave w/ RockSport Steering System
3. 37" x 12.5" Nitto Trail Grappler Tires & 17" x 8.5" Hutchinson Rock Monster Wheels
4. PSC Big Bore XD steering gear & hydraulic assist cylinder
5. JKS geometry correction brackets

I think this eclectic bin of parts delivers superb value for the coin. My strategy has adjusted to also maintain a very comfortable daily driver. I've arrived there with no small amount of effort. I can now easily take on intermediate to advanced trails while enjoying interstate and city driving.

FWIW, I'm building my own armor from scratch, which is why I didn't list bumpers, rock sliders, skid plates or a winch. You can check out my build here.

One thing I would not do it is weigh it down with steel bumpers and winches. You can't order any steel bumpers on the Mojave for a reason.

I have both on mine, zero issues.

Just 110 extra lbs. Issue for some, not for others like you! I'm on team low weight. The truck will always perform better lighter.
