Mark another down for the MOPAR Factory Soft Rolling. I bought it from a forum member who took it off his new Gladiator. I think from MOPAR they go for 900 and up. The material matches the soft top perfectly. Here as some things I would note.
1) doesn’t lock. I think this is a plus possibly...
Agreed. An @JeepCares rep said they’ll need to look into if I caused the problems. Really?!?! Cause I just took a brand new 50k truck and decided to start pulling a door out of alignment, screw up a seal, and somehow reverse manufacture a door and put a defect in the bottom. Not only that...
@JeepCares
I am. I am expecting a call back this afternoon. Hopefully this will get rectified soon as my Gladiator is less than 3 weeks old and we’ve identified multiple issues with the truck that should not have passed QC. Obviously, I know things happen, I’m not unreasonable, it just seems...
Just an update. I took the Gladiator to a local dealer today for pictures and a look over. We found that the seal on the rear passenger door window is rolling out and the foam is exposed, so less than 3 weeks old and a seal is failing. The dealer said they’d never seen that particular issue...
They were not. I thought initially they may be causing it. The MOPAR guards, however, make no contact with the door, the seals, or anything, so they’re not obstructing it.
While yes they are are adjustable, as I know from previous Wranglers, they should be correct from the factory. Due to a previous bad experience with a new wrangler, I need FCA to know they came this way in case it causes issues down the road. The wrangler I’m speaking of could never get its...
@JeepCares
other updates: Now with almost 2 weeks in I’m seeing production issues
1) the gap above
2) passenger side cowl sticks out slightly and not flush
3) paint defect on lower passenger front door. I’m not sure if it’s a clear coat issue or what.
4) front passenger side headlight...
Hey everyone. I’ve had my JTR for almost 2 weeks. I noticed this morning that the passenger side front door was not flush along part of the bottom. I opened and closed multiple times, and to no effect. I thought it may be the MOPAR door sill guards, but they do not come in contact with the...
I’ve emailed the Line X shop and sent pictures. It’s obvious they removed the bolt here. I hope they own up. If not, is this easily removed and replaced?
Hey guys. I picked up my Gladiator Rubicon last Saturday. I had the dealer drop it at the local Line X prior to delivery. I went to strap something down today and realized a tie down was loose. The head is stripped partially as well. There is loc tite on the bolt. I can’t get it out, so...
I checked after and literally can see zero reason they’d be a problem, but MOPAR was pretty dead set on exactly where to position them. I wouldn’t think a couple of mm would mater since the MOPAR version not only do not go over the door lip into the truck, they don’t even go all of the way up...
