While I like the OEM look of the Mopar AUX switches (my JT didn't have them from the lot), I'm getting estimates close to $750 for install at local dealer. So I've been looking at alternatives for aux switches in my JT. Looking at forum posts and YT vids, it looks like VOSwitch and sPOD are...
Productive weekend. Got the winch, bumper and new shoes put on. Finally starting to look like I imagined when I got my JT almost a year ago.
Mopar 2" Lift
35" BFG KO2 tires
Black Rhino Chamber wheels
Rugged Ridge Arcus Stubby
Smittybuilt X2O 10k
Bottom edge of the fender. So it looks like you get just about the same front height with the Rubi springs and spacer.
IMO the Mopar lift shines not on the amount of height but the ride quality. I live in MN so we have a lot of cracks and potholes from winter weather. Those jolts feel a lot...
I have the 2" Mopar Lift on my Overland (which I love btw). The measurements from the ground to the edge of the fender on stock vs lifted.
Stock JTO: 36.5" F / 39.75" R
JTO w/2" Mopar: 39.75" F / 41" R
So the lift does more for the front than the rear and leave a bit of the rake on the...
There is still a little of bit of rake, but not nearly as much as stock. My Overland with the 2" lift shown below before and after. Same tires and wheels.

With 2" Mopar Lift:
Progress update: Mopar 2" lift installed. 35" KO2 and new wheels due this week. Once the weather warms up, I'll get the new bumper and winch installed.
CAN NOT WAIT FOR SPRING!!!
Whoever gave you that quote was talking out their ass. I got mine done at my local dealership for about $2k. I got a quote from another shop outside of town for about $1800.
The dealership quote was more than some other forum members have paid, but it’s the middle of winter in MN and I didn’t...
Did you actually start your JT again from inside the cab? I believe if you let the remote start timeout by running more than 10 min, the remote start won't activate again until the JT is started from inside the cab.
I haven't seen documentation on this yet, but I know if I start it early when...
I got my JT last spring. The dealership basically used a 6' pole to hand me the keys and said they hoped I enjoyed my new vehicle. I didn't understand the jeep wave until I found this forum.
So how many other new jeep owners don't know what they don't know?
it's the 18" wheels.
Everytime I look at my JT or someone else who puts new tires on the stock Overland rims, they always look off. Someone puts 16"/17" rims and tires, the rim to tire ratio just looks better. Go up to 20" wheels, different ratio and that still looks better than 18" wheels...
