While I like the OEM look of the Mopar AUX switches (my JT didn't have them from the lot), I'm getting estimates close to $750 for install at local dealer. So I've been looking at alternatives for aux switches in my JT. Looking at forum posts and YT vids, it looks like VOSwitch and sPOD are popular choices.

Hoping to get some feedback on real world experience with VOSwitch, sPOD or other 3rd party AUX switches.

I installed the voswitch over the weekend. It’s pretty straight forward and does exactly what it says it is supposed to. I will say the switch panel that is provided isn’t the most robust item but it doesn’t need to be. If you applying a lot of pressure to turn on some lights, there might be a bigger issue. As far as down sides, I can’t really think of any. You can either keep it in its default mode amd can have power at the switch all the time or you can key enable it so that it only has power when the vehicle ignition is activated. I went back and forth between the two but kept it in default. If I forget I have two driving lights on I probably shouldn’t be driving.

You can use whatever type of automotive switches you want, price will be dictated by how clean or factory looking you want it to be.
I have the factory switches but needed more then just four, So I added a second set of four switches under my steering column.

I also have VOSwitch and like them a lot. Super easy install and 6 buttons instead of 4. I do feel like the switch panel itself feels a little “cheap”, but they work perfectly for my needs and fit very well. Almost looks like they could be factory. You can also check out LasFit as they have a Mopar knock-off. But, they are permanently marked with parts of the Jeep where you would be adding lights. Not customizable like VOSwitch. This is why I went VOSwitch instead of LasFit.

I agree with @jc1986 @kaeo_15. I have the same setup and would buy it again. Based on ease of install, look, functionality, and price, you can’t go wrong.

Early on they had trouble with the JL300 switch flickering during the electronic start and stop if the switch was powered on. The vendor has since replaced the main board.

If others experience this issue, just contact their support and they will replace it with the latest version. They sent me a new one no questions asked.

Appreciate the cab pics of the button panel and switch in the engine bay. ?

I installed the mopar aux switches and understand the dealer installed price. It's not overly complex, but it takes time. I have an ARB compressor and F/R lockers connected to these.

When I installed some lights, I needed more switches, so I got a Trigger 4 Plus kit. It is bluetooth only and is always slow to connect. I am frustrated enough with it that I am removing it and have ordered a switchpros 9100 to replace it. SDHQ has a 3d printed mount for this that places the switch right below the headlight switch, which is pretty trick (and expensive).

If you don't want to spend several hundred dollars, and don't mind not having a fancy switch panel...
The Pilot PL-SW29 ( https://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Performance-Lighting-PL-SW29-Wireless/dp/B000BRJF62/ ) is about $35, and provides 4 switches either On/Off or momentary. The remote can be paired to the HomeLink buttons on the visor. Easy to install.
Not quite as nice as some other options, but it’s like 1/10 the price, too.
There are posts elsewhere about it.

VOSwitch 300 here too. Never installed anything but single rocker switches before, so I think it's pretty nice. Just got some marine switch blocks for my YJ, the damned things are useful!
