Just installed mine. I had zero issues with the nut insert. It worked exactly as expected.
Also, I got mine for less than $275, so a great deal IMO.
The quality of these rails is excellent...
I power my GPS off one of the switches. Makes it easier to control if I want it to stay on while stopped along the trail rather than it turning off with the ignition every time.
I have the Mopar 2" lift, and it retains the rake.
I tow quite a bit, so I prefer to keep the rake, but you can add a spacer to the front springs to level it.
It's just personal preference. I'd prefer to have in-cab controlled power from the aux switch.
If I want to kill power to the Winch, I can control it via a switch, regardless of the controller status.
I've never had a properly placed relay fail before, so not worried about a point of failure
Having had both hard and soft tops, I don't think you'll regret the soft top choice.
IMO, The biggest pros to the soft top:
1. Quickest way to go topless
2. Rear seat passengers also enjoy topless.
3. Nothing to store unless you remove window and corners too. ( still easier if you do )
4. Soft...
My JK had the hard top with Freedom panels, which were okay, but a bit of a pain.
I decided to go soft top on my JT for an easier impromptu topless ride.
Very glad I chose the soft top, as it's much more convenient than than the hard top, and the rear passengers can enjoy open air too. Also...
I just bit the bullet and ordered the Carolina Metal Masters. After having dealt with annoying issues over the years with numerous solutions, I'm done messing around with flimsy after thoughts for mirrors.
I wouldn't put any other crap on my Jeep, so why start with the mirrors.
I've had...
Agreed! If you're in the hills of West Virginia, there is no cell service at all. If you don't have the maps downloaded locally, you're screwed. Banjos playing background
I have these too. For the price, I'm impressed with how well these work. I do a lot of off road buggy riding, and often return to the Jeep covered in mud. These are easy to remove and wash, and stay put on the seats. Haven't had much issue with wind, but I'd expect doors off would cause...
I've been receiving the same amount of waves in the JT as I did in my 2 door JK. People may actually be confusing them from the front. Both firecracker red, lifted with aftermarket bumper.
I do notice two factors in the wave frequency. Other modded Jeeps wave more, and young ladies wave...
It's literally just an inline module that took all of 10 minutes to install including the time it took to contort my body to fit on the driver's side floorboard.
Keeping last known state has saved my sanity.
Agreed. I live in PA, and still wait for stuff from them longer than any other supplier.
Seems like it takes them days to process and ship orders even if it's in stock.
