  1. Mojave orange mods

I learned a hard (and painful) lesson when I rolled an older Jeep and the maglite broke loose and smacked me in the head during the crash. Hopefully the newer holders are stronger, but it's something to think about. I now store all heavy items under the rear seats or in the bed to avoid the...
  2. Bestop teaser concept: folding soft cover / shell / topper for Gladiator bed

Yeah, that bugged me as well. I completely understand shipping/product delays with the supply chain fiasco worldwide...but at least be clear in communicating that. I don't mind waiting for something as long as I'm not going in blind thinking it's available since the site does not specify otherwise.
  3. Jeep Announces Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package

Interested to see what the pricing is on the package.
  4. Bestop teaser concept: folding soft cover / shell / topper for Gladiator bed

I got an email from Bestop yesterday (23 June) stating "Our current best estimate for delivery of your order is a minimum of 15 to 20 business days from today, plus shipping time." So I went ahead and ordered a roll tonneau cover as I simply cannot wait any longer due to upcoming trips. It's a...
  5. Bestop teaser concept: folding soft cover / shell / topper for Gladiator bed

I have the same question. Based on the Bestop mounting on top of the bed rails, I believe any rack would potentially interfere with the seal. Would love to see if there are some rack feet that are slim enough to fit under the Bestop mounting rails. Except that you are taking a structure...
  6. BFG K02 vs. DuraTrac for mostly street use

They’re both good options that I’ve run over the years. I picked DTs because I drive in snow, and my experience has been they simply do better as an all around tire when snow is part of the equation. The light weight of the DTs is a nice bonus as well.
  7. Bestop teaser concept: folding soft cover / shell / topper for Gladiator bed

Interesting idea. I imagine the support structure of the frame might be compromised by turning it around backwards.
  8. Bronco looks legit

Same here. I've always been a Jeep guy, but I've concurrently owned a few Broncos over the years and enjoyed them as well. I was one of the first to order, and waited and waited and waited. Ford kept changing what you could and couldn't get, and when that would happen. I finally said forget it...
  9. Bestop teaser concept: folding soft cover / shell / topper for Gladiator bed

Same here...though oddly they cancelled my original order and I had to reorder and then call to get added back into the queue (so fingers crossed I'm not on the bottom of the list after waiting a couple months for it already).
  10. Mojave orange mods

Seats look great. Curious, how long was the install? Do you drop off in the morning and pick up that afternoon or is it a couple day thing? No Katzkin vendors nearby for me so I'm trying to figure out how the logistics would work for an out of town install.
  11. Another small truck… Maverick

Nice! Curious how long it takes to go from empty to full charge...and is it reasonable to think you can half that time if it's half depleted or is there a fast charge for the first 1/3-1/2 and then regular rate? Most of the best use-cases I've seen for EVs are when someone has an ICE and EV...
  12. The one that got away...

67 Chevelle SS with the 396 and manual transmission...loved that car! (not my pic but same color/year)
  13. Another small truck… Maverick

I think that shows the larger cities are doing well in terms of adding options. From what I've seen, where you run into problems is on a longer road trip where you'll inevitably drive through small towns and there won't be any chargers...or maybe there are one or two, but what happens when you...
  14. Another small truck… Maverick

That's exactly my issue with all-electric...you simply cannot take a long road trip without planning out charging locations (and spending a good bit of extra time while plugged in). We routinely take 1k mile + trips, and I just cannot imagine stopping every 250-300 miles for an hour or more to...
  15. Another small truck… Maverick

You've got to be kidding. The Prius is extremely well documented as being one of the most reliable vehicles ever produced, by any manufacturer. And no, I don't drive one...but I'm well aware of the reliability and low cost to own. To throw the Prius into the mix when trying to prove hybrids...
  16. Bestop teaser concept: folding soft cover / shell / topper for Gladiator bed

FYI, they cancelled my black diamond order after waiting a few weeks. Spoke with the customer service rep and they indicated if I reordered it would be around mid July for the black diamond (sorry, I didn't ask about twill).
  17. JEEP GLADIATOR BEDRUG GROUP BUY

Interested in pricing for a 21 Mojave (if possible with only the bed and tailgate...no real need for the sides for my usage).
  18. Gladiator vs Bronco.

Exactly why I cancelled my order as well. I just got tired of the BS with Ford (plus I've been a Jeep guy for decades, I just wanted to get the Bronco while I waited to see if the Gladiator would be released in a color I wanted).
  19. Do you think this Genright stubby will fit my Mojave?

I think you'll be fine. You might have to notch the stock Mojave skid plate just a bit depending on how it lines up with the bumper, but that's simple enough.
  20. Gladiator vs Bronco.

No chance of that happening. Toyota solidly moved away from SFA vehicles a LONG time ago and has no reason to return. Ford won't do it either; they want to compete with Jeep but not in a 100% head to head battle...they want to do it just slightly different in the hopes that most buyers want the...
