It sucks. You must remove the lower air dam. I tried it without. I was able to one of the upper air dams out and change the fog light but I couldn't reinstall the air dam until I removed the big lower one. Once it was removed, it was all straight forward.
I still don't understand. You guys should just design a bulb that works the way the factory halogen one does. That being said, I'll probably keep the bulbs. If sounds like I'm going go have same problem with other brands.
I just installed the bi-oculus lights. They are awesome. I installed oracle fog lights. They are awesome. I also installed new turn signal bulbs and DRL bulbs. The DRL bulbs are awesome when the lights are on. Unfortunately, when the headlights are off, the DRL's are off too unless parking...
That's what I'm going to do. Do you like the Zevos? How are they compared to the Oracle ones other than the fact that they work when they're supposed to?
Well shoot. I wish I would have read this thread earlier. Just installed Oracle bi-oculus, oracle 20 watt fog lights, and new oracle turn signal and drl bulbs. I have the exact same problem. Probably not worth my time to send Oracle ones back. Going to give the Sylvania ones a go.
I order the $589 retail Oracle lights. I just got notice that they shipped 2 1/2 weeks after I ordered them. When the halogen lights are on, I can't even see that little jeep piece. To me the halogen lights are the worst part about my truck. I would have ordered LED lights but it wasn't an...
I pulled the trigger. Bought everything except the smoked lens side markers. Hopefully it arrives within a week.
Update: Just received email saying items are on backorder until 4/16. Hopefully that date stands. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know before I ordered.
This thread makes me want to get a trailer for my 26 foot Scout and tow it to the keys with my gladiator. Just towed a 6000 plus pound trailer this weekend with no issues at all. Used a weight distribution hitch though.
It looks like turn signal and DRL are two separate bulbs. One more question. How long do these bi-oculus lights last? Do the bulbs ever go bad and can they be replaced?
What do I need to upgrade my lighting on the front? I have a sport s with the max tow package. Mine has the plastic bumper with the air dams, but also has daytime running lights? The only thing I am sure of is the bi-oculus headlights. Not sure which fog lights to get or which DRL and turn...
Problem solved. I'll just leave brake controller harness unplugged until I need to actually tow something. The blue lights brightness seems to be umadjustable. If it is adjustable, the dimmest setting is still way too bright for night time driving. Might be a reason to get the mopar one for...
