Not really sure but I can find out. All in know is what he told me is that the stock on is hollow causing it to overheat and transfer that heat. He said they beef it up and enclose it. obviously I don't know what i am talking about. But I know this. I have to back up a utility trailer about...
I use my gladiator to get out to some unpressured trout. Here is a couple of pics of my trip to Colorado and Wyoming. I am leaving today for a trip to Arizona and New Mexico.
the clutch on the JT is not beefy enough. Hollow. So it overheats very easily. South Bend beefed it up so it doesn't overheat anymore. Here are some before and after pics of my clutch. The owner of South Bend has a manual Rubicon so they specialize in it.
Not me. I plan to upgrade the wheels and tires on my Mojave but I decided to wait until I have to buy new tires. The Mojave comes with the Falkens and 33's and they work great. So I decided to upgrade other things first since i don't have an unlimited budget. So I installed an Alu-Cab Canopy...
So I sent my clutch away to South Bend Clutch. They rebuilt it. Got it back and it works great. No problems backing a yard trailer in the grass though some turns, which would have overheated my old clutch. $600. The first pic is my old clutch. The next 2 is the rebuilt one.
Actually wanted the RSI. That was my 1st choice but they were hard to come by. The Alu-Cab is good though. I really like it. No issues with having the tent on top except your height. And one of the things I like about it is that it is high enough to stand underneath it. So I have an awning I can...
I do. Better gas milage. And because I live in Florida, I don't camp all the time. Probably once a month between October and May. And not always in that tent. Sometimes we camp on the boat. Last month I camped in Alabama by myself with my dog, a yellow lab and since she can't get up the ladder...
Yes, I meant Dobison's. Here is the box they came in. I have a friend who works at King Chariot. They sell off road vehicles, mainly Toyota, which Dobinson is very popular with the Toyota crowd. So he talks to them and they recommended this spring. If lifted the vehicle about 2". It feels a...
We were in Utah last March and it wasn't too crowded. We are supposed to be there this March between the 13th and 20th. Moab diner has the best green chili breakfast burrito. Now, I mainly camp but years ago I stayed on the Apache Motel in the John Wayne Suit. That was where he always stayed...
Yeah it was really fun. Defiantly got to do it. We saw hardly no one on the trail. I love winter camping because it is so cold, I am usually by myself.
I don't know if I can help because I don't know much when it comes to this. What I do know is that when I loaded my stock Mojave with a roof top tent and all my camping equipment in the back, I had a lot of sag. So Dobson sent me some springs to install in the back. When I had them installed, I...
I noticed that too. That is why one of my first mods was the exhaust. I love it so much better now. Because now I can actually hear it over the music. And I have a standard and I don't want to be having to watch the RPM's the whole time to know when to shift. I would rather be able to hear it...
