I wish the basic cloth on the Rubicon came with the gray dash and white stitching on everything instead of all the red. It sucks having to spend the money for the tan leather just to get rid of the red.

The new model year is typically introduced around Sep/Oct of the prior year. Since this is the 2020 I wouldn't expect the 2021 to be available until Sep/Oct of next year so you will probably start hearing about potential changes in the months prior to that.

Personally, I don't think it's smoke at all. I think they are purposefully delaying colors to get people to jump ship and start buying all the black, red, silver and white gladiators still sitting on all the lots. See post 289..........

I have to wait longer anyway because I want the painted fenders and hardtop and that's not due until October. I also want the steel bumpers so just sitting here nice and patient............ha ha

How do you know that you will loose the charge port? Is there a picture showing where it will be located?

As an owner of a 2016 JKU.......Hell yes it is worth the wait. I’m waiting for the matching 3 piece hard top and fenders though. Here is my JKU.

Yes on the JLR configurator it does show a silver dash with cloth seats but it still shows red stitching. The only way to get rid of the red dash and red stitching is to go with the tan leather.

Now the other and more likely reason is that this Rubicon was produced with tan leather to get the grey dash and white stitching and then had aftermarket set covers installed. You can clearly see that the seat covers are not standard issue.
