  1. Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

There must be a hold on specific colors. Or a limited allotment. Ordered my White JT Nov 11 and its been sitting at the rail station waiting for a truck to bring it down to my dealer for two days. It has the full list of slow down items. Front trail cam, 8.4 w/Nav, bedliner. Maybe painted...
  2. What tent rooftop setup for 5+ people?

To answer your original question, CVT and 23 Zero definitely make 5+ person roof top tents. To use them on the Gladiator you will need to use a full size rack as most of them are 72" long and will need to overhang the cab to fit properly. Both of those will allow you to add an annex which will...
  3. Maximus-3 trifecta of rack solutions for the Jeep Gladiator

Sweet. Can you at least slide us some preliminary pricing or price range?
  4. Gladiator Window Sticker and Build Sheet Order Tracking

Hahaha it's about as guaranteed as rolling the magic 8 ball... My order was placed 11 Nov and is in KZ status waiting on a train. Others haven't hit D1 on orders placed around the same date.
  5. MPG and range

Jeep engineers have commented before that the Wrangler pads the low fuel light to come on around 4 gallons because of off roading. I wouldn't be surprised if the Gladiator was the same due to shared ECUs.
  6. Let's talk about winter issues

Simple fix for the wipers. Wranglers have been known for their amazing heaters. Throw it on the window defroster setting and your wipers should never ice up. At least they never did on my TJ or JK. Still waiting on my Gladiator to find out. For the doors, watch the wind. Park the truck...
  7. Factory Towing Harness Location

From what I've seen, if you reach up behind the ODB II sensor you should be able to feel it.
  8. Maximus-3 trifecta of rack solutions for the Jeep Gladiator

@Maximus-3 is the rack going to be available for those that want to build it in stages? I.e. will the soft top mounting locations come standard on the base rack? Same for the tonneau? Will the soft top sides/back be available in a mesh for those that carry pets in the bed? Last, will the rack...
  9. tonneau covers

I think most covers that sit on top of the rails should be pretty close on fit. The ones that sit flush like the Bak Revolver series wont due to the cut out shape of the bed rails. Bak is supposed to release a Revolver hard rolling tonneau early in 2020.
  10. Upgrading the power Inverter Questions

Looking at the install video, you only need to remove the kick panel under the steering colum and about 6 bolts and you should be able to get the inverter out. That being said I would question whether the wiring would be able to handle the draw from a 2k inverter.
  11. Portable air compressor

Airing down when offroad is helpful in most situations. It will smooth down washboard roads as well as any rocks you may encounter. You dont have to be doing any extreme rock crawling to take advantage of airing down. VIAIR and ARB both make some great portable packages. I would look at...
  12. Finally took a test drive today

Normally keep a small teenager back there... They can reach through the beer hole and wipe things down on the go for you. HAHAHAHA
  13. MPG and range

Still waiting on my Gladiator here, but one thing I haven't seen anyone post on is what altitude they live at. Here in Colorado Springs we are generally over 6500 feet. Horsepower loss is noticeable. I believe MPG ratings are generally done at 55 degrees at sea level so it would be...
  14. Sport vs Rubicon if No Rock Crawling

If dirt forest roads are your thing, the Sport/Overland will likely be better. The downside to the Rubicon is you cant get a limited slip rear diff and the lockers are only useable from the factory in 4 low. The electric sway bar disconnect is convenient but you can achieve the same effect on...
  15. Thoughts on Cause of Payload Differences?

According to Jeep, the shocks and springs are tuned to be more off road worthy (i.e. possibly softer springs and the Fox shocks vs the standard HD shocks and springs on the Sport) hence not being able to tow the full 7650, but still able to tow 7000. The springs and the 33" tires probably...
  16. Thoughts on Cause of Payload Differences?

The sport without the Max Tow only has a payload of 1105 with the 8 speed vs the Overlands 1120. The Max Tow package gives it the Rubicons wider axles and upgraded suspension putting it at the 1535 Payload.
  17. Gladiator bed box depth / height is 17.5" from floor to top of rail

I'm sure they will give some engineering spiel about the engine bay being smaller than most other vehicles causes overheating issues tied in with the limited space for exhaust routing requires a lower power output and engine workload to provide reliability. IMO they just need to hurry up and...
  18. Cloth seat versions - rear seat arm rest

The seats on the Gladiator are noticeably different from the JL's... so its really a crap shoot at this point until we can get interior pictures of a clothie. I would argue that the new bucket design of the rear seats would lead towards both cloth and leather having the armrest cup holders, but...
  19. “Hercules” High Performance Jeep Gladiator Being Tested!

The Sandstorm is running EVO's Double Throwdown on it. you can see the replaced shock towers. While I highly doubt they will be running that on a stock production vehicle, having some high speed tuned shocks/coilovers wouldn't be terribly difficult...
