Got Smittybilt G.E.A.R. seat covers installed this week. I like them pretty well, but fit isn't as tight as PRP (nor does install take all afternoon) and there's a small pocket of air where your back goes. Hopefully I can tighten them as time goes on. Also, these came from Extreme Terrain and...
I ordered maybe a month ago and they were available. Could have been a new item?

It's basically a screen; I don't think it restricts air flow much. And it's just a small part covering the grill anyway. But it's easy enough to pull out if I ever notice it's making a difference.
Eh, what are the odds you could have as bad of luck as me? I'm not thrilled, but if they ship me the missing molle pouches I'll forget about it as quickly as I start filling them up.
Also got a Weathertech rear seat cover. Box had been opened, they look a bit faded and there was dog hair on it. Not the best first-time buying experience from a company I've had. But it's for my own dog to sit on anyway, so not going to make a stink -though I did let them know nicely. If they...
Got the Weathertech back seat cover put in. I hate to say that Extreme Terrain sent me a used set, but I could tell what color the last person's dog was that returned them. And they honestly look a little faded. Disappointing but I really didn't feel like returning them or making a stink since...
Installed Smittybilt seat covers today. It was not exactly fun, but not nearly as bad as PRP and other really tight seat covers. More here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/g-e-a-r-gen-2-seat-covers-install.29113/#post-719730
Also have a pretty basic Weathertech back seat cover...
Installed Smittybilt G.E.A.R. front seat covers today. Instructions were lacking and I was shorted the molle pouches (Extreme Terrain is sending them supposedly), but overall I like them.
Install and review here...
Was about to start a new thread but found this one and figured resurrecting it would make more sense. I received my G.E.A.R. seat covers today. I had hopes that they had worked out kinks in these (and the accompanying "instructions") over the last 2 years, but it doesn't look like they have...
Plan on towing heavy loads? If not, that might be a winner! I was drawn towards the Willys package in part to the black wheels and trim. I think they look especially sweet on colors. Test drive all three and see how you feel. Everyone is going to have their own opinion but it’s going to be your...
Chuckled at “booming” to describe a gun store but I’m awfully glad to hear that. In my neck of the woods more are closing down. Weird that firearm sales are skyrocketing but gun shops seem to struggle, but online sales suit a lot of people. I imagine for people just getting in to shooting or...
That's a tough thing to make a blanket statement about. Two of my biggest hobbies are aquariums and firearms and I miss the heck out of stores! Both of those industries have been decimated by online retailers from a locally-owned store perspective. Bud's guns and LiveAquaria can sell at 5%...
Did those of you who ordered Smittybilt covers receive molle pouches with them? Some reviews say theirs did and others didn't. Also how was the install? Extreme Terrain's site says 10 minutes to install, but they look awfully tight for that to be accurate.
I'm not 100% sold on Smittybilt and am...
